Hi guys!

After playing rfactor2, iracing, pcars, Gamestockcar Extreme and Assetto Corsa (AC I like the most out of those) I tried LFS today again. Well the pure fun of driving is still unbeatable. Where is my old beloved team? !cewolves? Maybe its time again? Miss those old days.

I wrote quite a few tunes similar to the ones on "crime scene" but not recorded them yet. These german songs have been in my mind recently and I need to get them out first. And I like them for they are differnet then the last ones. It's like the tyrephysics and the scirocco.
The follow up to "crime scene" is already planed.

It's been a while since my last release.
So here is the first song of my new CD project.
I've changed the style a bit since my last release "crime scene".
This is an ongoing project. When the next song is recorded, I will immediately upload it.

I think the most people in here know me because of some LFS-Movies I did in the past. Maybe some of you know, that I am a musician.
Recently I have recorded some own songs I used to play in Pubs, because people were really interested in them. I used to do elecronical music for years now, and this is my first songwriting-style-record since years now. And to my surprise, people really like it.

So I went ahead and set up a homerecording studio in my living room. A mic for the voice and a mic for the guitar. Then I invited a few good friends of me to listen to me while I recorded the songs. I need audience, otherwise the songs might be too mechanical. So this is far from a perfect sound quality but it is the way I wanted it to be: honest and clean. Later on I added some backing vocals to the mix. So this is more or less a liverecording.

Bandcamp is the perfect place to spread my music. First I wanted the download to be free, but my friends really insisted on putting a price on it. (there is a download limit for free-giveaways on bandcamp anyway) So I decided to charge for a download 5 €. I hope this is a fair price. But you can listen to all of the songs in full lenght without downloading it anyway.

The most important thing is to get this music out there and show it to a bigger audience. So if you like it, please spread the word on facebook or wherever you like.

Well this is really sad.
This answer is no answer to me at all.
Why not release cockpits and other small stuff? Is it that much work to release new interiors and other small stuff for 3 years now? You don't really answer this questions, and this make me stop believing in progress.
Now that you realize it is taking longer than expected, do some small updates in content. But I bet you would do this if there is something to release.
I can't help but thinking Eric isn't working on LFS at all. And beside the mysterious Rockingham, there is no progress made at all for years now.

This is a big let down for all the long time loyal community members. Me included.

I don't understand that too. But I doubt we will ever get an answer to this question cause it's not asked for the first time.
It's no problem for me to work for some years on the tyrephysics. If we are getting closer to realism, be it so. But not to release any new content, or at least some updates over so many years?? Seems strange to me. And I guess the bad mood in here is strongly because of that fact.

Man I'm around since 2003...and this long long wait is by far the biggest let down for the community over these years.

Please Eric give us some information about the progress. And please don't tell us to move on...most of the people in here deserve a respectful answer as they did a lot for LFS by doing some community work. (Videos, Leagues, the passion...)

This is my current movie project about the biggest German LFS-League, the City-Liga.

There will be 12 races during the season. 5 are already done.

Anyway, I hope he finally gets something to work and is able to continue.

I guess you are right. It's no problem to me that it takes its time to build up a new tyre model. But I still don't get, why there is no content release. It's been years that they planned to release the cockpits. Some cars are still in S1 stage. RB4, MRT and UF1. And we are racing on the same tracks since 5 years (ok 2 new variations appeared, but to me, this doesn't really satisfy me). This makes me worry about the future of our beloved LFS.
But this is already said a hundred times and never changed anything.

But I am not in the mood in the moment to make this compilation. My HD crashed and all Data with it...so feel free to do this compilation.

I'm really sorry about that, but right now there are many things in life way more important and it would take a lot of time to collect all the data I've lost and it's hard to find motivation right now.
I really love the idea of this thread! Keep the idea alive without me. I might be back in future.

Always bashing and rating and "I would do it better"? Why? Respect everyone and his opinion. BTW It is not always necessary to say his opinion, sometimes it's better to just stay quiet. And I can tell by own experience that this rating-mentality can be really annoying. If you like something, tell it everyone, if you don't, well, what am I supposed to do. I watched this forum for a long time. People do work in their sparetime to show you something they like and hope to entertain you and some really put their "heart" into their creative work and some people just don't have other things to do than letting them down. Sad but true. To be creative is much more than just use this or that music while using this or that camera perspective. You have to go your own way. Don't follow the biggest lines all your life or the line will end some day. Listen to what people say if they are honest and not just pushing their own selfesteem by letting you down. And I can tell you that I always think twice before I post my own work here. Not because I cant stand critics, but because of not beeing tolerated to see and do things differently than the mainstream. And why always rate everything? This is good, this is bad...It is what it is. Sorry, but this is not my way of life. This competition is not about A vs B or looser and winner. It's about doing something together. Is this so hard to understand for us human beings? These words have been in my mind for a long time now. Think about it before telling everyone your beloved opinion.
