It is the most played simracing game nowadays for sure. I'm happy paying, at least we get updates, cars, laser scanned tracks, and most important, other players to race with.
Racing IRL is expensive compared to iracing so I really don't see a big problem.

Of course LFS is not dead, but how can you describe a game that has 8 people online racing (at least in my timezone) when years ago I could go into any well know server and race against 15-20 guys.
Right now even if all the people that go racing online went to a single server you could not fill that server up.

Okey, the link was removed, are the Devs going to work something out for this? Were they already aware of this page? It seems that those mods were possible from a long time ago.

Why do the mods/hacks [Mod note: Removed link to mod/hack site] are possible to use without warning or getting kicked from the server (until the admin notices) ?

I remember years ago that if you used LFS Tweak you could not get online, it's really a bummer because it is frustrating if the guy does not get caught. Are the devs aware of this?

I have a similar problem, but it's when someone joins the race, my pc stutters and fps drops, it is not dependable of where in the track im positioned, it isn't because my computer is old for sure.

Do you use Windowed or Fullscreen?

I was using full screen, tried to use task manager but my screen kept blackened, when I disconnected the HDMI I could see the task manager and LFS already windowed, clicked on LFS and as I already explained I only heard and could not see. I'm using Windows Vista, 64 bits.

Hi, today I was racing at Cargame and suddenly my screen went black, I disconnected the HDMI (I play with a laptop) and I could see again but not in LFS, LFS stayed black and the only thing working was the sound, I had to leave with Shift F4, never happened before. Also, I'm getting a lot of stuttering some times, it goes from 70 fps to 0 fps, and again, never happened before.

Can't we just put LFS on kickstarter and gather a lot of funds to buy licenses for tracks and cars?

Anyone has setups for the V8s? It really sucks how the iRacing community doesn't help in that series, I don't have time to learn how to do a setup, even the time to create one from baseline, I just want to do casual racing and they don't have "setup shops" like other series.
