Any news about this implementation? Any add-on can help us?

I have tried tapatalk today and I think it would be very good for lfsforum. Reading the forum on the iPhone is not easy and tapatalk could solve the situation.

After 4 years without playing RBR, I was facing the same problem again. Happy to see that my previous post is still here :-)
Have you been to the Game Convention in Leipzig in 2008?

Hello fellow racers,

I want to know if someone got a chance to drive the VW Scirocco at the GC in Leipzig in 2008 as it was announced on the Main LFS website.

>LFS @ GC with the new Volkswagen Scirocco Going to the Games Convention in Leipzig this year?

Make sure you visit the Volkswagen booth where you can drive the new Volkswagen Scirocco in LFS and take part in a competition : The person with the fastest laptime around one of LFS's tracks gets to take home a real Scirocco!

For more information about visiting the Games Convention, please see the GC website.

The Scirocco will be released in Live for Speed at a later date which is not yet decided.

Quote from spankmeyer :Yup I gots taht porblem bad. illepall

So I put the RBR values in general settings and other games work fine with individual profiles.

Yes, I did the same, and that solves the problem.
Thanks.
Keyboard support for menu navigation
Soundcrash

Hello,

I would like to be able to navigate the lfs menu using only the the 8-way button of my G25.
In order to do so, it would be necessary to have the menu item under focus highlighted, and be able to move from one menu to the other using up, down, left, right keyboard arrows. (I will use g25 logtitech profiler to map the arrows to the 8-Way Button).
I am asking this because, I use one screen with my G25 installed in front of it, and another screen with my mouse and keyboard.
The mouse is so far away from my G25 that when I want to play LFS I have to stretch over my desk in order to reach for the mouse.
I was thinking of buying a cordless mouse, but I have no flat place to put my mouse on.

I know a similar thread was already started, but it was not exactly what I am thinking:

I hope this time, more people will find it interesting.

Thanks,

Hello again,
I think we cannot get rid of the drifters now. They are part of our community and we should admit it.
So, in order to better understand the drifting thing, I thought it could be a good idea to have at least one drifting lesson.
I noticed that when I loose control in a race, I am unable to keep my car on track. If I could learn how to drift I might have some better chances to keep my car on the track.
And also, I am curious by nature, and like to try different things.
Racers should not be scared, we won't turn into drifters just because of some training lessons.
See you on Redine Racers - FOX - AS Club.

Hello all,

What do you think of having some Drifting Lessons in the Training section of LFS ?

You can find a picture here:

The drawer might be a problem for the Shifter's gripper. Could not find a picture on google...

Quote from Foropsico :I agree with you, i think they could add a formula and/or a high power car to give you an idea of the diferent behaviour of diferents cars.

Maybe a good improvement for the demo would be to allow S2 Licensed racers to connect to demo servers with the car of their choice.
That way the demo racers could get an idea of the diferent behaviour of diferents cars by WATCHING all the Formula XR, FZ50 GTR or BMW Sauber F1 passing by at high speed, with their powerful engines and beautiful skins.
I guess it would be more incentive to buying S2.

1:35pm in the morning here now.
I should NOT have clicked on your video link at midnight, youtube is a trap for insomniacs like me :-)
The drift videos are amazing.

wow, your instant myalgia just triggered an instant accute vision of myself, and I just discovered that I tend to be really sarcastic sometimes !
In fact I just wanted to greet Bestiajo and give him a warm welcome :-)
Bestiajo: I guess you are a little shy (1 year registration and only one post), and I hope my message won't prevent you from posting more.

Quote from Linsen :And you probably want that editor to be available in demo mode, too .

Seriously, I doubt that it's gonna happen any time in the near future.

Not necessarily, as long as the newly created tracks are available in demo mode he would be happy ;-)

I found someone with the same problem in the Logitech Support Forum.
I added my question there:

I hope we can have a solution soon.

Yes I tried making 3 profiles with exactly the same settings: one for RicharBurnsRally.exe, one for RicharBurnsRally_SSE.exe and one for RicharBurnsRallyn_NoSSE.exe. But it did not help.
I checked in taskmanager and only RicharBurnsRallyn_NoSSE.exe is loaded during the RBR session.
For me it looks like a bug in the Profiler. Maybe I should post a message in the Logitech Support Forum (if it exists). Perhaps it happens with other games.
G25 Logitech Profiler not working in Richard Burns Rally
Soundcrash

Hello,

Sorry for sending this question here.
It is related to RBR and not LFS, but it is related to the G25 :-)
I cannot make the Logitech Profile work for RBR. It only works for other games like LFS or GTR2.
Key assignment and wheel degrees of rotation are not taken in account.

I have a Logitech G25 wheel, RBR 1.02, Logitech Profiler version 5.00.182.
The process running in memory is RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe and I carefully created my Logitech Profile for this process.
It looks as if the Profiler is not detecting the process.
If I go in Tools/Global Profiler Settings and select my RBR profile in "Type of profile to apply"/"Apply persistent profile", my settings are applying to RBR but it is not a valid solution: in such config all games are using the RBR profile :-(
(or maybe I should create a script that overwrite this setting in Logitech Profiler for all games? dunno if it is possible).

I sent the same question to the RSCNET forum, just to see which one is the fastest :-)
Can someone help me?

Thanks.

My dream would be a driving simulator like with all kind of cars and add-ons like MS Flight Simulator. And with plenty of online events to compete against other racers, drifters, truck drivers and bikers. :-)
