I'm talking about the screen in the attachment. if you press ctrl-alt-del twice in a row there you will get to the login box. and then you can enter "Administrator" as username and no password. try to press login then and see what happens. its important that you are not logged in when you try this (e.g. simply pressed win-l to go to this screen).

Alternatively you could start your computer in safe mode, when you come to the login screen, the administrator will be shown already.

Im running Server 2003, and im very much aware on how to 'secure' my system, but it gets to the point where you just run out of new passwords without forgetting them!! As much as i hate the little phuck he know's how to work a windows box, so ill have to write my own tool or something, or make myself a metal keyboard and have a 240v wire hooked on it ready to fry him!

change your game-password - set up a new one online and type the old one in when you are done with playing... thats the easiest way and also the one scawen suggested

It only works on XP. Vista will have another Backdoor^^

Or run LFS from a pen drive.
Or install it to a hidden location and launch it with an obscurely named batch file.
Or store LFS in an encrypted directory (magic folders type software needed).
Or store LFS on a network path with secure login.

If it's yours, disable the guest account, password protect the administrator account, disable fast user switching, and press crtl+alt+del then enter whenever you get up. Although, someone can still hard boot your computer while it's locked, if they don't have an account, they can't get on.

If it's the family computer, I'd agree with Becky and run LFS from a flashdrive.

Disabling fast user switching allows you to lock the computer. This doesn't allow the computer to be used at all, it looks like a logon screen, but only the person that locked it can log on.
You hard boot a computer by unplugging it, holding the power button, or hitting the reset switch

I already knew that last but, but I wasn't sure I have this weird start up problem that occurs from time to time where all my devices just freeze (light on my camera stays on, instead of a blimp, screen stays off, bluetooth sticks stays on while it should go off, ...) Only a hard boot can make it snap out.

About the locking, I already went that far to get a guest account for my dad, that's far enough for keeping him out my business

if you are a saint, buy your brother his own copy and let him learn how to be responsible with it.

if not, just beat him senseless.
