Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time, which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

After several custom or simply unpopular combos, this week's RTFR XL featured a combo which could be described as classic, even if this specific car hasn't been run on this track as much as GTR cars. The Formula V8 hasn't been very popular in this event, averaging 16.5 drivers per race which is the 3rd lowest value between 36 cars ever used, also this edition did not blew any records away, but with 24 drivers it was repeated highest attendance in races with FO8,while the 24 FO8 on grid - highest number ever in RTFR XL.
No changes in the winning front compared between this and previous race - Gábor used the combo he selected himself to put his name on top of the day's results once again. In qualifying he was more than half second faster than the best of the rest, scoring his 19th pole position, also in race he set the fastest lap by over half a second which is also his 19th and 23rd for Hungary, tying Lithuania for 2nd most. He crossed finish line 11 seconds ahead of the other driver with lead laps during the race to score his 19th RTFR XL race win and 30th top5 finish. Ohnifus qualified 5th,but progressed up to make this his best RTFR XL performance - he led his first 20 laps in the event series and finished 2nd to score his and also Czechia's best finishing result, improving both by a single position, which is his 5th top5 finish. After 3 5th place finishes in row,Thehemuli had a better race this time to finish 3rd,extending his top5 streak to 4 and total count to 11. Also the other czech driver in top5 scored his best finishing result in RTFR XL - in previous 8 races,M.Kapal was able to score 7th as best result, this week he improved that to 4th. 4 weeks after making his debut in RTFR XL,Cride jumped into top5 finishers list - the finn qualified 3rd,which is 3 positions better than last month, while his 5th place finish is 4 positions better.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Finland in LFS has been quite dominant in both drivers count numbers and results. This time their drivers count of 5 was matched by Czech drivers (5 of them are 62.5% of all czech drivers ever raced in RTFR XL),while the results were better - 2nd and 4th place finishes against finnish 3rd and 5th.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Only 2 drivers went for simple clock pitting strategy as all others opted for pitwork - both from same team, better one was organizer himself with 10.17s pitstop, beating the teammate by 0.06s. 2 drivers were able to do shorter pitstops - S.Martin was the better one with 10.05s,but he refuelled and changed tyres.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
S.Kapal's finishing result was his personal best, but his race progress - the best of the day between all drivers. Starting from low 22nd position,he improved a total of 18 positions during the race which is 10 more than 2nd biggest positions gain.
VOD at Youtube:
Race winner is already locked out of selections this year,so the combo selection has been relayed to 2nd place finisher, which is his 2nd selection already - this time he selected the car last used in the 100th anniversary race in a custom racetrack. The XRR will be run in layout which is based on design of german racetrack of Hockenheim - details about estimated distance will be announced after proper testing.
