I was looking into spam and what I could do about it and I decided to "get into the mind of the spammer" and wrote a mail relay seeking tool. Dont worry it was never released and I did not actually relay any mail, I just wrote a tool to seek out open mail relays and report them.

It was one of the easiest things I ever wrote, less than an hours work.

I conclude two things, firstly spam is just too easy to make (you can even buy bulk mailing software that has spam filter checking built in which is why we get emails for v1.gara) and secondly your mate could benefit from a beginners guide to programming, and tell him that from me because any idiot with a compiler and a help file can do what he's doing - so if he thinks what he's doing is worth bragging over, tell him from me he's crap. However if he's sending out spam and making money i'll be quite happy to listen to him gloat (fair is fair afterall) because i'm broke...

That's the problem, he wouldn't because he is a good coder, he even shocked the tutors at uni with how good he was at it. Because no matter what level of education you're in, staff always assume you know nothing.

i havent even played warrock and i already hate it. 250 meg game. No problems there downloaded fairly fast. Install it fine but when i run it wants to download an extra 130 megs that really annoys the hell outta me. Also you have to register for the game and then register again if you want to use the forums they arent linked

This game better be good because im not exactly happy right now.

and it gets worse. No oceania servers no idea what to do in game. Punkbuster kicked me for some drivers or programs that were not allowed

No Offence Faster111, but you didn't even make an attempt to change the main little logo, I think if you put a bit of effort into the site, you could make it better, and if you invested some money into a real host instead of those crappy free board hosters, your site _COULD_ possibly build a community.

Woah, I hadn't heard or used Cutenews since like 4 years ago, It was a good piece of software, until I decided to say "F*ck it" and rent a server, buy a domain name, and install Wordpress. CuteNews did well because the server I was on had PHP but no MySQL that I could use (was just a couple of MB from a friend connected by a sub domain).

I first started using it because I was home hosting and was too lazy to setup a MySQL DB so I could run a new system which required it, and at the time I didn't have FTP so I couldn't use my blogger account. I still use Cutenews just because it's so easy to transfer from site to site.

You don't have to logon to download. Game is too big for me though.

ok, i have 6600GT, works fine, and once i got rid of all the crap on my pc i got SLi working a treat, it was remarkably simple once i did what i had to do (now this ISNT what you need to do, but i wiped mine)
