Hey all!

I remember several years ago there used to exist a Ford Capri mod for LFS, is there anyone able to do something similar now? Or does anyone know how one can take that old mod and upload it to use it now? Because if I remember correctly the unofficial mods had to replace the original vehicles to be used.

I was looking at these but then I saw a post about illegalities/uploading mods with models taken from other sites so do not want to cause any controversy.

Ace pilot, the license on that Capri is “CC Attribution” which means that you may use the model for any purpose that you want, even commercially. Just be sure to credit the model creator in the cars mod upload.

CC < Creative Commons (free for use and mods)
Attribution < give credit

Cheers I'll try to find a way to create it, but might take me some time, I still need to learn to use Editor hah, I tried to import the obj but failed massively

The Ford Capri has an interesting license - an official one from Ford:

That would be cool if it was approved so it could be used with real name and logos

The "downside" is that it has 655,396 Polygons, which is like 10 times more than the limit for LFS, so it would have to be heavily optimized beforehand.

For me, the mods need city and race version for being perfect.

I know this is gone sound obscure but I request that we do a 1996 Nissan Maxima. I jus wanna get out there and whoop on some Civics with my first irl car, also it would be awesome to see any kinda game with this kinda car and I believe it had good enough body lines to make something like Gran Turismo, and since they missed the ball here lets go y'all!

Besides that list I would suggest some japanese "classics" - there are quite few Nissan S-chassis cars and few others,but still no NSX,MR2,Celica,proper street versions of RX-7 and 8 (both published have downforce),the older Impreza,maybe also some Lancer's,Eclipse and 3000GT... I'm pretty sure I forgot some great other models.
Also would like to see cars of the 80ies crazy turbo era - group C LeMans cars,while they had few amazing ones in 90ies (Toyota GT-one,the flying Mercedes and Bently),no objection to newer ones too.

Since we cut cars in half to make bikes, can we cut bikes in half to make EUC's ?

DMC Delorean - with and without flux capacitor. If time travel function is bugged,at least we can drive simply in same time coordinates.

I would like to see some more fantasy/fictional cars ( but reasonably realistic ), which can reach over 400km/h.

... Or I just do it by myself. ( My main point was however, what people can do and reach with their imagination )

I don't think that's possible. Cars are made half and LFS mirrors it symmetrically. For bike, its okay to use the half side and force LFS to not mirror. One half will have two wheels, you cant cut it further to make a EUC.. no single wheel is possible in my opinion.
