The online racing simulator
Quote from Denny12 :Works, looks nice.. Thank you for this present

Actually, download it again. If it weren't for you pointing that out, I never would have noticed I forgot to include the injFX folder. Thanks.

I will try it again when i come home
To be honest, this still looks like something I'll use for cinematic/movie effects, rather than when I am racing.

I haven't really downloaded it yet since I don't really find it that useful, but if I ever get around to mock up some videos I'll be testing this out how it works.

Nice settings, judging by the screenshots though. Could do with a slight bit more saturation and contrast.

Too much contrast darkens the dash horribly, you can't see what you're doing while racing. As mentioned, this is a setup intented both for racing and for cinematography. And the drained saturation is just artistic, here's what it looks like without it. (You can really see the colour grading when you bring the saturation back up.)

Quote from Kyotee :I know how it works, silly. In that case, why not just render at a higher resolution, providing your PC can handle it? If not, then, oh well.

That is what supersampling is; rendering the frame at very high resolutions. With supersampling, my GPU is rendering LFS at 7680 x 4320, and averaging every 4 x 4 block down to 1920 x 1080 which is my laptops screen resolution.

I know, but as you said, if you can't automatically supersample with ENB enabled, why not force it manually?

Quote from Skagen :(...) for textures at the angles you often see the road ahead of you while driving. It just gives a much better degree of fine detail in the image, and the image is generally calmer since there is no pixelation from transparent textures, etc.

Most likely gonna be a small update soon. Check back, guys.
Everything is blurry and dark, doesn't look even nearly like those screenshots...What to do?

also how do I use those keyboard controlled variables?
In my experience with ENB, the result you get with any given setting isn't deterministic. Often I will have a quite different visual result compared to other people who have posted their settings and screenshots. In all these cases, the ENB library has been the same.

I'm no expert, but it could be ENB doing things which isn't supported by the DX API or drivers, which gives different results on different implementations.

Generally, if you have graphical errors, that's the case.
Or your system might not support Pixel Shaders, have outdated drivers, or your card just flat out doesn't work with Boris' sometimes buggy coding.
I see that it uses a proxy file in the ebnseries config.

I am already using a proxy with EBN for SoftTH.

Is it possible to use two proxies? If not will this work without using your proxy file?

What settings did you use to add the saturation back?

Set the proxy on enbserief.ini, the final of the 3 passes. This will disable the FXAA, but that shouldn't be a big issue.

Just wait for the update, which brings it back.
But, if you must know, go into your enbseries.ini, scroll down to [COLORCORRECTION], and change these two values

Before:
ColorSaturationDay=-3
ColorSaturationNight=-3
After:
ColorSaturationDay=-2
ColorSaturationNight=-2

Don't set it to -1, or 0. It just looks bad.

Dash is blurry all the time and everything is dark as shit. How can I get it like this: http://puu.sh/1Fndx ?

The way the game renders dashboards can be temperamental.
On analoge dashboards (With needles and such), centre the camera to look directly at the steering wheel, or, disable depth of field by going into the enbseries.ini files (all three of them) and changing EnableDepthOfField=1 to EnableDepthOfField=0.

If you want to keep DOF, however, and just keep the dash in focus, as I said, analog dash = Camera looking at it.
Digital dash (ie XRR) = Camera looking away.
If you want, I could upload my camera settings for you.
Also, for the brightness thing, use this:
enbpalette.bmp (Just drag it into LFS and replace the existing palette)
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: LFS.exe
Application Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Name: d3d9.dll
Fault Module Version: 1.0.0.1
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1

Any ideas? It just crashes as soon as I open LFS every time. I couldn't find the other log file with all the errors in it (checked log.txt that just says 'redirecting CreateDevice').

Well, you have Windows 7 so I wouldn't suspect outdated software.
However, update your DirectX and your Graphics Card driver, then get back to me.
If they're up to date, try going into enbseries.ini and disabling EnableShaders_3_0

Thanks dude, I will give it a go.
