Ah well after the failure of the last PC version I'm getting it on the 360, might get the PC one later on if it's okay.
IMO it wasn't thad bad, mainly want it as I enjoyed TDU1 and it was fun
If the PC version doesn't turn out too bad and the game is playable then I will end up getting it on there too, and I will setup a club on that too. Although someone should make a LFS club.
We could make Chapters of the club. LFS Club PC Chapter, LFS Club PS3 Chapter, LFS Club 360 Chapter.
Will be getting it on PS3 I think, I will buy it even if it's just a updated version of the old game, since I pirated that one.
Getting it on PS3, ill have to go pre order it soon though lol.
The reason why I liked about the first game was because it was just a casual just driving around game with some really exciting cars. I didn't care if the physics was crap 'cause frankly I wasn't expecting it to be a realistic sim anyways. It's like I don't go play NFS for good physics.

But I saw a dev video on youtube the other day with the developers saying they are trying to get everything as realistic as possible. I think unless they actually get the physics right, it's going to take the fun away. Arcade game can be fun. Sims can be fun too. But what's not fun is a game that isn't arcade-ish enough to be consider as an arcade, nor is it realistic enough to be considered as a sim.
I want the PC version, but I want to use my PS3 DualShock3 as the controller. I have the drivers, but I wonder if I can get the best of both worlds.
I'd be using an xBox controller, so I don't care about the driving physics.

I don't know if I'll ever go online with the xBox. It's not mine and I'm not sure how long I'll have it. If I would go online, I'd get the game, but I have priorities over paying for online and buying a game right now.
I've been reading MP/SP is seamless, how exactly would that work if (say) my internet dies?

Everyone you cruise with suddenly disappear and you then just drive alone.
Ahh okay so it doesn't quit with an error?

All of the reviews state there is an offline component, the EU version had a problem and would not let people online so everyone was testing the offline only modes and they worked fine. But the meat of the game, the thing that will keep you coming back is the online.
Roll on Feb 11th

I'm stoked for it. I couldn't care less if it's Mario Kart handling. It's meant to be fun after all.

Question 2. I seen vids of people walking around before races. Can you only do that in houses/shops/casino/before races, or can you stop at the side of the road and get out?

Q3, I read somewhere you can be a passenger, any info on that?

You can only do it in shops/casino/home's/before races indeed.

You can indeed be a passenger, or have one. The beta had this feature, but it did not work very well (graphic glitch (I assume they have fixed this)).

edit: wait, IIRC in the beta you can also walk around the car in photo mode, but I'm not 100% sure if that was a bug, or a real feature.
Ahh thanks, so that rules out stopping at the side of the road, getting out and walking round the car

I'm assuming it's SL meets TDU? (Minus the sex/griefing)

EDIT: Can you share how the passenger thing works? It's not like walking up to a car and hitting a button is it?

I'm not sure how the passenger thing works... I just know it's there, I just never tried it. Read my edit in my previous post btw.
Seen you can walk round the car in photo mode in a teamvv vid on Youtube

IIRC you could in TDU1

I'm disappointed by the car list. I mean, they had to pick between Ferrari or Lambo?

Are you saying there are Ferrari's, but no Lambo's? In that case, I won't play it.
Yes, going by the official forums, both marques asked for sky high license fees, so they had to pick one or the other.

Then again, they also said DLCwould be made, so there's still that chance that Lambo could be added in via DLC
