I like the servers (bump and jump and server 1), but now I can't seem to stay connected for 1 hour or 2 races...

DXT1 ARGB lets you use an alpha, but only one with black or white,
while DXT3 and DXT5 is the same but you're allowed to use various shades of grey as well.
For the record DXT3 and DXT5 are bigger than DXT1
Quote from MarioX :hi,
I have a problem saving an alpha channel so that it works ingame:
i use dds plugin in psp8, open dds file, edit it, set the transparency and no matter what settings I choose in that dds saving panel, I still get non transparent background in lfs (and when I reopen that saved dds again in psp or other app - the transparency isn't there too...)
so what settings should I use excactly for alpha to work/get saved correcty ?

Try making an alpha channel then colour the the parts you want seen white. Once you've done that, save it DXT1 ARGB or DXT3/DXT5

I think the pit lane lines are 'linesALPHA.dds'
Lap number next to player names

I think the lap what someone is on should be displayed next to thier name when the position list of drivers or 'names over cars' is on, a bit like:
Xpowaspa(2)
or
Xpowaspa(2/3)

The trick I think is put your name somewhere with 50-60% opaqucy/transparency onto the car where they can't really see it.

Since it's LX month I may as well launch a new series of 2 lap race videos I'm making. They're mainly on-board, but do some occasional TV cams.
Don't expect anything special or quick, since I'm not that great a driver.

When refreshing the list of severs the load up, then disappear. All I get afterwards is 'Closing 1 Connect' with no options

Quote from Riders Motion :Nice job on the horn sound, I'd like to hear the win and finish race but I never win and/or finish a race so

Why not just open the files from the zip/rar file and listen to them on your media player?

they're a nice start, but maybe you should cahge the location of the light
what will the AI become?

Okay, I searched beforehand and found nothing on this. Also, move if I posted this in the wrong place.
I think the AI is being improved in the next patch and I, just want to know, what do think will be improved in them (if you actually care).
Will they overtake eachother?
Will they try and avoid crashing?
And will they learn how to use the pits?

even then, doesn't the BF1 have traction control?

I think the hi-res skins go into a folder called 'skins_y' instead of 'skins_x', so I think you don't need to delete them nor will LFS overwrite them

Have you checked if you have 'lfs_restart.exe' in your lfs folder? That could be the problem
