Just a little news folks! When the series does launch, we will (hopefully) have sections on the NDR website and I may also decide to use the new, uber cool, sign ins mabob.
Anyways, see you all very shortly (especially Jeff) with some more news.
As the son of a Nissan employee, for me £11,000 is over the top but not as amazingly overpriced as you think. Every part has to come from Japan, which would be long hauled along with export cars. A new bonnet fully painted and fitted with the super pedestrian hinge mabob isn't cheap at all, although it's very Nissan (and stupid may I add) to have to replace the BCU (I have a feeling it'll be the BCU rather than the ECU.)
EDIT: I've actually decided that £11k is amazingly overpriced.
Come on Ken, what made iTCC exciting? The fact that you, me, Jack Atkinson, The Pope, anyone could win a race. The fact that everyone was almost as quick as each other (especially with the shootout) made the action close, the overtaking fierce and exciting. It may have been a touch excessive, but nowhere near 25%.
I personally believe the ballast system made the iTCC what it was. The fact that no-one could predict who would win a round. The racing was awesome because the faster drivers were pegged back, and any one of the 30 could have won. I'd keep it the same personally.
Yeah, but with the average stream being a good...........6 or 7 seconds delayed from on server action, it's probably more reliable to wait for it to show up, no?
It's a possibility. The fact that I was watching the lead car on stream would give me the accurate green flag for the leader. But it is whether all the drivers at the back of the pack got the chat message as the green was waved for Tommy, and that is something very hard to prove.
Looking at that, I think Kevin has seen the chat message and acted upon it, and the yellow flag has blocked out the large green flag message. However, it is strange that no-one else has acted upon the chat message.....
