I used to have minor issues when it was F1GP running at something like 4fps but these days I don't have any issues at all with eye strain. Arms, legs & back side, yes - but eyes, no.
Veering slightly off topic (sorry) but I've just been to look for blue flag rules for Nascar - as an example of oval racing. Concrete information is difficult to get because unlike F1, they don't (openly) publish the rules. Anyway - from what I can see there's not a blue flag in Nascar - just a blue flag with orange diagonal stripe with a similar (but subtly different) meaning as follows (apparently):
I always knew I didn't understand Nascar racing. Now I'm even less sure.
I usually start with a setup from the Inferno site, then adapt it to suit myself - quite often ending up with something completely different. I've even got the the point that I have a good idea of what changes I'd like to make even before trying a setup out.
On the very rare occasion I've been asked, I've never hesitated to share a set up.
I've never asked for a set up on line - but a number of times I've been offered one unsolicited (yes, I'm that slow... )
Isn't this somewhat like being the registered keeper (named on V5) of a car that is caught speeding by a Gatso (ie no pic of driver) - you get mailed the fine & the 3 points & unless you can get somebody else to take the penalty (ie admit to driving the car at that time) you're stuck with it (even if you weren't driving at that time)?
I too had to invest in a set of headphones - particularly for late night racing. In my case I went for a cordless set which work fine... & you can crank it up as much as you like
