Could the overall rating be automated by just rating the sub categories and removing the ability to give overall rating? The overall rating would then be the average rating of the sub categories.

I just want to add that Vagisil is safe to use everyday. EVERY DAY.

Nice and fun mod! The driver animation is cool, but it's a bit distracting in VR because the head stays in center while the body is moving around. So it's bit disorienting. Just letting you know if you haven't tried it with VR yourself.

Quote from !!!!! :It is quite common to use a higher pressure to reduce sidewall sagging and to make it slippery or make smoke.
On the other hand, some people use 1 bar for longevity and grip.

if it's in the range of 0.5 to 15 bar, I can't say it's wrong.

wut lol 0.5 would be like driving with flat tyre irl and 15 bar would explode. 2-5 bar is pretty common for drifting irl.

Quote from detail :Just a month ago, I listened a lecture on WWII history from my friend, a historian. He showed how large were Sweden's expenditures on the defence. "That's the cost of neutrality in the war" -- he put it.

I think Finland has even lower expenditures than Sweden and we live next to you guys lol

Looks very nice overall. Only thing that bothers me is the lfs logo on the steering wheel. It looks kinda tacky compared to the rest of the interior. I think it would be nicer if it was completely circular and engraved on to the wheel. Or then no logo at all.

Not sure if you are doing the rally version or the street one but according to this article it had redline at 8k.

"The yellow section on which starts at 7000rpm, with the redline at 8000rpm."

Quote from ELDemon :I had nothing but good feedback on the car in servers, I suggest maybe to consider editing the setup slightly to your preferred feeling, can you elaborate more on "handling needs improvement" what are your issues at the moment?

I drifted with the drift setup that was set as default. It felt like it was hitting the bumpstops all the time, bouncing around at westhill car park. I have to drive it again to give you more detailed feedback.

E: gave it a go at AX and there it was fine as the surface is completely smooth. It was just that the suspension is very hard on the default setup.

Looks really nice, i love the checkered floor mats. The handling is bit weird, could use some adjusting.

Quote from Federico Testa :you're right. I did not know how to model them properly. I'm going to replace the body with a better one with roof now as well.

Looking forward to this! What 3d model are you using as base?

I think the handling was very well executed. Felt pretty much just like stock mx-5. Good job! The 3d model could use some work on it.

Just tested this out in VR today. Very well made, felt like i was actually driving a truck, the interior looks great in VR. The handling reminds me of MB Atego that is very agile for it's size. Good job.

No hands on the wheel is a bit odd. Other than that great mod.

Quote from Xenix74 :Excellent!

I love this car in Assetto so much.
And that although the Assetto engine seems to be more suitable for GTR sports cars.
The chassis (measured by the ForceFeedback) is much shorter and harder to feel in the Assetto Engine than in the LFS. Maybe this is due to the limited physics of Assetto. The cars don't tip over ectect. And it is precisely with this vehicle that you can feel this limitation. Because in my opinion the Mazda fluctuates so much and borders on this.

With LFS it could get really awesome and legendary. Because the car itself is SuperFun ..... even in Assetto.

Exactly even with the better stock bilstein suspension it's very soft setup. The miata is surprisingly well executed in Assetto. But the Assetto physics are quite unrealistic other than that.

You can see how bad the bodyroll is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBKsBb8lpfQ

Quote from Federico Testa :THIS IS GOLD MATE!
I hope i can implement it in the suspension diagram, i'm not very skilled yet. Let's see

No problem mate. You probably found the gear ratios already but here they are if you didn't (hope it comes with torsen instead of open diff) https://www.miata.net/garage/KnowYourCar/S8_Gears.html

Quote from martin18 :Yes!!! Soo excited for this I’m a MX5 fan boy! I’ve had 2! Please make a 1.8L spec and a stripped interior roll caged version for spec races!

Another fanboy here Big grin Had a 10AE NB for over 5 years. I've also driven the NA couple of times. Hardtop variation would be cool! Here's a 3D model of the hardtop: https://grabcad.com/library/miata-hard-top-1

Added some files if they help you with the textures.

Here's a calculator tool for modeling diferent brake calipers in NA miata. I'm not sure if it helps you or not, let me know.

Here's specs of the suspension:

NA OEM Showa
Front
344mm body
121mm stroke
464 max length
Rear

NA OEM Bilstein (R package)
Front
342mm body
122mm stroke
464 max length
NA Rear OEM Bilstein
242mm body

OEM shocks are 153/70 Newton meters/second, compression/rebound.
R package Bilsteins are 430/75 Newton meters/second, compression/rebound.

Really nice! The steering wheel would look better without the lfs logo imo.

Very nice. I see that JZX100 went through as it is so i think this would go through even with the original s13 frontend as a "variation".

Quote from Gunn :I'm using Corel Draw 9. It's the same software I used to create all of the Pro Kits. I like to use vectors because any asset I create can be re-scaled to any size without loss of quality, and I love the clarity and precision vector brings to the table.

You did all the pro kits? Thank you sir. They have been very helpful for the last 15 years. Big grin

Quote from Nadeo4441 :Not that it matters, but they have made a couple of factory ones, both SIL80s and Onevias, in limited numbers

No they haven't, they were produced by KidsHeart tuning company not Nissan. Onevias were made by Nissan, that's true.
