Said it again and saying it again, the sensor dust cleaning units are just gimmicks. Disabled mine on the day I purchased the D700 last year and so far no problems after lens swaps on the field.

Of course Finland is not Iraq but then again if I was doing professional photography in dusty enviroments I'd just get two bodies with wide and tele lenses permanently attached.

Just came back from the cinema. The movie was brilliant from start to finish.

I bet he browsed /k/ every night when no-one else was around.

I've forgotten what this plane was, now.. Oshkosh Airshow.

There was a massive thunderstorm all throughout the airshow, with lightning strikes on the runway. A bunch of us, who in retrospect were complete idiots, still sat on the grass through the whole show!

Went online last night to check the server out finally.

Really, really much fun.

Quite a lot of people who obviously had very little experience in TBOs and big grids (on South City Long! ) but once you managed to climb to 10th position or higher the racing was clean and tough. And the climb through the grid was fun too.
