Quote from MousemanLV :GT2 challenge has to be my favorite event from NDR back in the days of 2012. Maybe I can just push myself to get the necessary gear ASAP and compete this time as well.

Thank you NDR for keeping the LFS racing scene alive. Without you, who knows where we would be.

Do it! We just did the GT4 double race with fully packed grid, 38 cars - what a blast it was!

That would be the log file in the app folder? It saves the log of the last session before closing the monitor, correct? I'll try to get it for you if I notice it.

What would you suggest if randomly the radar stops working? Everything else works but the radar either just isn't there or if it is, it's inactive? Restarting the app sometimes works, sometimes doesnt.

I've just recently started using Fanatec CSL DD. No issues with it, just a minor inconvenience that for some reason LFS sees 2 Fanatec devices of which only 1 works so sometimes it hooks to the wrong one. Might be something fixable, haven't looked into it yet.

I know there are definitely more DD users out there with way more experience but I haven't heard anything negative about usability of DD with LFS.

Another way of checking for how long you had your LFS installed is by checking the setups folder and filtering by date created or modified? Mine is 2008-10

I agree, not something worth investing time at this point.

Quote from Flame CZE :The F9 tyre diagrams don't stretch all the way down in test patch:

It looks like it's intentional but I didn't find it in the patch notes. Is it to have a clear separation between the dirt bar and the tyre?

Yeah this was reported some time earlier as well but it's still unclear whether it was intentional or not. I personally liked it more the old way where both start from the bottom.

Quote from Ibtasim6781 :Did something change in F9 display? I noticed tyres are shown a bit more compressed/squashed compared to D48

Quote from kristofferandersen :The improved bike physics feels amazing. They're much easier to drive now for new comers. Although I'll have to mention the view settings for bikes are a bit rough.

I'm not able to get the view low enough to see the dashboard gauges on the bike.
I've tested this on the following resolutions with the same result:
  • 5760x1080
  • 3440x1440
  • 1920x1080
Could this perhaps be per-mod related?

Try getting the pitch down a bit.

I'm also getting the same error with G29 after reinstalling Windows 10. Never had this error before. Everything works except for FFB. Tried both G HUB and LGS, a different port, nothing helped...

Edit: following this video solved the issue. I used his old installer and once everything was back in working order I updated GHUB

Quote from Avraham Vandezwin :THANK YOU Thumbs up. I understand now Smile (I drive with the clutch pedal with basic G25/G27 hardware).

Am I to understand that this is some kind of...cheating? Or not ? Shy

Edit: clarification
I don't mention some laps specifically. I often drive the FZR. So I looked at some of the FZR WRs. The shorter tracks, but others too. I noticed that the accelerator pedal was released when decelerating and not when upshifting. I haven't checked all of the WRs but I imagine everyone does the same thing with all cars. It's just weird.

No lift upshifting is an easy way to gain a bit of time (in an H pattern) and probably most if not all WRs do that. Hurts the clutch so not widely used in racing (at least not in all upshifts) but considering anyone can use it, I wouldn't call it cheating. Especially that you can do it in real life as well, though that's a bit more expensive there Smile

Quote from nikopdr :On another offtopic note, maybe LFS could have a sequential gearbox type that has throttle blip on downshifts.

As a side note - if the car in question has "engine brake reduction" option and it is set to a high number, it will act as a throttle blip for you on downshifts Smile
