Oh my, the sound of that XFR is so annoying!

I would strongly recommend you start playing at least with a mouse . It gives you much more control over the car and you can change easily the settings with the other hand while driving. At first it will be hard, you will be slower but be very gentle with the mouse, try not to do sudden movements and gradually you'll get better

LFS still resets your car when you reach ~720 kph.

Such race should be fun as long as you control the tweaks. I mean if you don't give people restrictions, it won't really be fun. Everyone will be flying and jumping around because of power and other differences.

That's strange. I don't have any problems with master server. Have you tried reinstalling LFS? Furthermore, the fact that you were able to write here confirms that the master server is online?

Layouts are epic! So much fun!

My controls froze because fraps crashed. After I hit the wall I tried resetting. My car reset off-track. Then I tried resetting again and it got reset even further away. On my next time the car got reset so far off-track that I instantly got reset again (without me pressing the button).

I think you might've missed my question. Is it possible/easy to raise the object Z limit (height)? The limit for cars (when you get "retired" message) is way up above.
