Seeing that you can get 500 points in theory, doesn't extra points (+1) seem totally insignificant for fastest lap, climber, etc? These are not that easy to achieve to be worth only 1 point IMO.

Oh these picture are so nice to look at! And the technical details are also nice to read, even if I'm not a programmer Smile

Is it just me, or all of the videos have no sound?

Oh this is such a nice graph to analyze! Thilo you are doing an amazing job with this statistical analysis, both for the results and the balancing. The amount of info you're taking in and how well you process it is amazing. This is coming from a scientist who's used to crunching tons of data and giving it in a nice form Big grin .

Not sure if I remember correctly but I believe Airio does report how long your pit stop took. Maybe it's possible for Airio to report to driver how much time you took in pit stops in total, including previous stops?

Something along the line
"Your current total pit stop time is ???/130 seconds"

Sorry for derailing this - what soft are you using? This looks very much like Origin. What hurt you so that you're so proficient in Origin?

OK now I can confirm that I do not have to adjust my settings at all. For example when switching from XRT to FBM, my wheel rotation adjusts automatically and stays 1:1. I'm using "Logitech Gaming Software" v9.02.65 .

I haven't looked that much but I don't even know if I can adjust my wheel rotation in LGS itself. My LFS rotation setting is set to 900° and I have never touched it.

Sorry for derailing the topic for a bit Big grin

E: Ah I see Flame has already responded. I guess I gave a bit more info though.

Quote from IsaacPrice :
PS: Regarding handbrake, if you want a pure driving simulator then to be honest the issue is the physics themselves. If you don't use handbrake, you just lock the rear wheels a bit on downshift and flick the wheel to have the same effect which also isn't realistic

I assume you're talking about RWD. Now correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't a downshift without any rev-matching loosen the rear? I'm not talking about flat out locking (which doesn't happen in LFS?), just some extra braking by the engine.

Regarding G29 - OK now I'm confused. I don't have my wheel mounted now but when I will I'll check how it is. I honestly don't remember adjusting rotation settings and I know that at least for road cars it's 1:1. If you don't adjust them, does it try to use the whole 900° range?

Have to say that having to manually adjust wheel rotation settings to match 1:1 is a major pet peeve of mine, and probably confuse newcomers as most sims do it automatically nowadays.

Interesting. I don't know what wheel are you using but I have never touched wheel rotation settings on my G29 (neither in wheel soft nor in LFS) and my wheel rotation always matches LFS wheel rotation.

Quote from cargame.nl :Add to the fact that english is a top ranked international language but still ignored as a language by about 75% of the world population and the LFS main website/shop is only in English.. Then I am not surprised at all. Most people simply don't know better because they aren't provided with correct information in their own language.

I was about to say "hey, LFS web page is translated to many languages. I'm sure they should have the web page in their native language" but then I tried to actually change my language. The web page is translated but as you said, the shop itself is not translated at all. Strange, never noticed.

If you want more people to report the video - the link should stay. I'm not sure if I would've reported it if I had to dig to find the video. I'd say it should be removed after it's become irrelevant, for example taken down.

E: OK I see the link isn't there no more. After seeing the OP I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have reported because I wouldn't know how to find that one specific video you're all talking about.

Oh that'll be me messing around with translation files Big grin

I've made a change in the translation files so that fuel consumption per lap is xx.xx% instead of xx.x%. Doing that I butchered Latvian translation file into English and I guess it wasn't the newest file? Though it does seem strange as I have to do this after every update so I'd think I should be copying the newest info. Strange indeed.

As the title says, for some reason the shortcut ctrl+c isn't working on my end. Any idea what could be the reason? If I change this in screen options, it works.
