rFactor 2 will be out reasonably soon, i have rF1, and found it to be pretty meh, altho having brakes that have to be warmed up is nice. Thats really all i can think of that is better than LFS atm...being unable to change cars while online = annoying, the cars feel almost weightless, it doesn't simulate boost (but can do oil pressure for some weird reason) Don't spam old simulators that haven't had an official update since 2007 on here, we're all aware that it exists.
mine has been in twice, 2nd time they replaced all the hardware in it,and upgraded to the current stuff, and gave me a silver Live 3month membership. Was out and back within 2 weeks of me sending it to the eastern states.
You don't ship your HDD so i don't see the problem with getting a different one back, if it costs nothing :P
Oil light should just either say "Oil" or "Oil Press. Lo"
Even tho its not 100% implemented yet. Low oil pressure can be caused by more than pump failure, besides it looks cluttered IMHO..
lfs database. Google it. basically u can tune most cars torque/power, the demo ones u can add turbo etc to, but only those 3 cars. You can also change driveline (FWD/RWD/AWD) Small weight reduction, engine capacity, number of cylinders, engine type (inline, Vee, Boxer)
Also the type of car (race, saloon, kart etc)
running it on Z10 - Headlights are inverted, ie Concave (with no glass texture, it looks like the glass texture is on the lens), and the LX on the dash is back the front on Right Hand drive...need pics or can you understand what i mean?
Graphics Card XFX 8800GT Alpha, settings maxxed out in LFS
EDIT - I'm not using the ultra Shiny reflection pack like your pics, could this be making the headlight glass harder to see?
wtf, spacebar and no aiming...it looks kinda cool but far out it's repetitive. I know it's a spoof game but still...coulda been better, the enemies can't even attack
