well... I should interrupt you again, guys. The whole case is just stupid. Listen...
What do we see? It's an official team thread on which the thread founders - Ixion team asks everyone to be in a little bit of control. No spam or whatsoever which is an ethical thing and blah blah (we do know this, we are not born yesterday). Ok, so, listen, isn't it a bit ironic when the founders are startin' whole spam a full of abuse and bad things? I mean attacking an innocent team and its members. What do you expect, Ixion? You think you can talk whatever you like on your thread? It's a somekid of privillege you have to say everything what is really on your mind and you have an only place on the whole forum to write down? Well... I don't think so. Please, don't teach others about PM, skype and other such things which are related to private chatin' when you have to take a lessons on your own at first.
Well.. You are a new team which seems to be pretty solid with a lineup and skin exhibition that shows how many efforts been put in teams appearance which is undoubtly a good sight. Now you should start actin' as a top team which deals with a difficulities, accepts an incovienent words and just moves on. The words can be annoyin' and painful. But as long they don't break you down, it makes you stronger (I know it's a stupid phraseologism, but it's good). All top teams had a bad, hard times acceptin' difficulities related on the track and off the track, but gone throught and are active even nowadays and countin' their activity in 1,2,3,4,5 even 10 years like SR.
Niki, please as a team leader, try to change. Be a more responsible for your team. Think what do you do and say. You have to be an example for your team. And your team as an example with some of its special values to other teams. I do believe something you got but it's not effective when your behaviour overshadows those values.
@Niki, what do you expect when u do write an abusing thing about the other team and providing no proves? I suspect you always like to put some drama in whole business. Please, stop. You are sufferin' from this.
@Dennis, be more clever. Obviously Niki is blaming with no reason and provokes your outburst. And you givin' upon this.
I do agree with Fram on ego thing. You both need to chill out and control yourself a little bit more.
I like it. I really do. It's because of simplicity, smoothness and a good taste of music. I really was chillin' while I was watching this video. The camerawork is soooo smoth and so well controlled. An angle of the camera is so sweet and so wide. I especially liked Fern Bay part from 0:53 to 1:05. It was really wow. I felt like I'm flyin'.. that sliding to the right and at the same time zoom in gave me a cosmic feelin'. I could even describe it as an innovative thing. I thank you for this experience. So yeah. A really strong video. As I said because of its simplicity and smoothness I really like it. Undoubtly it made an impression to me. Great work
Well. Obviously it was something new and innovative. Maybe the first thing that came to my mind was - it's a movie. Not a short video which basically has no sequence. This one does. It's really like a damn movie. I see the storyline and it's being developed in very interesting way. Somehow, the quality of video (colours, transitions) aren't so good. Some camerawork really surprised me in very good way. But yeah. Thank You for puttin' your efforts into this project. We got a new experience watching this video which is really different.
Yeah I got to agree. System Of A Down isn't a band that fits to this kind of videos. Too harsh. Next time try to be more correct choosing the soundtrack. Apart from that - a decent review video. You've definitely reached that level when you can provide a video that is easy and pretty entertaining to watch. That's a good progression. Keep it up, Walter.
Music is good. So the intention is. The problem: a lack of creativity (artistic aspect). You can well synch the music with a video footage. The problem is - that synchronization is poor and annoying when the video distorts pretty much all the time. You can do a minimal effect of that. Don't overuse it. So yeah. The deduction is quite clear: you can manage and do the work well (technical aspect), but lacking of ideas how to make it look more variable. It's absolutely a normal thing, you know. It's always easy to do when you know what to do, when you have an idea and so on. An art is all about. At first, you come up with an idea and then all happens. You really have a potential. Just think a little more how to make it more variable not so static, monotonic. Good luck
First of all, I want to thank You for your efforts which been put on this project. It really show a nice result. Somehow, I am a bit surprised about this work. Let me share my thoughts with you about this project.
The whole project is made in cinematic mode (the colours, the black boxes). Well it made me consider that you probably are really serious with this project and you wanna show us something. So I kept watchin' futher more and know what? I dont regret. It was worth it. What did I like the most? The camerawork. Especially if we are talkin' about 4 minute and on. The camerawork, however, is pretty average, not advanced, but I like the way how you tryin' to make a camerawork more advanced and know what? Somehow, it works and some shots are done extremely nicely. There are not one, two or three shots that caught my attention. There are more than that and I really liked it. I watched the whole video. I don't know how much you are familiar with video production, what is your experience, but this one was really decent, made with a right attitude. Keep it up! Nice to see new faces in this section with a decent, nice videoproduction. It's time for a fresh air.
Pretty decent promo. Nothing spectacular or "wow", but a decent one. A simple, but well compiled. But, in personal, I would have avoided that ferrari steering wheel at the beginning. Apart from that - everything seems fine. Glad to see something new from you, Walter. You are progressing. Keep it up.
First of all, it wasn't laggy at all (we can take a look at other lfs videos where you can find what really means laggy). I agree that intention was good, but poorly materialized. The driving was bad, but in some of the camerawork I noticed a potential. Also you don't synch audio with video at all. That's bad. Especially at intro where is an obvious beat and you are totally missin' it. But I liked that you provided your work in the simple way (no tons of effects and some other distracting things). That's good. Keep it up!
Man, sad is the thing how you always act as a child and never learn from it. That's a problem. Don't tell us how we should react. We do react properly to your mess. Don't defend youself, 'cos you don't have an argument. Your behaviour is an appropriate. I know internet is a cool thing, you can be whatever you like, but be honest to yourself, at first. Don't be an actor. It annoys people around here, you know. Ok? Thanks.
Seriously, man. What the hell are you doing? Maybe you should go out and hang out with some friends (if you do have them). Stop makin' such a stupid posts and spamin' all over the place. You are a true member of Core racing. So, you should act as a proper Core Racing member. Don't embarrass yourself and your team. You made a commitment to a team. Don't break it. Be responsible.
I would like this one to be maybe a little bit more developed, but apart from that - really great job. I instantly felt a movie atmosphere. The aspect ratio 16:9 (blackboxes) and the colors made this look like a movie. Smooth shots. Good camera work (I liked the most flowing far cameras). Also a good thing that you were not trying any experiments with a camera which is good if you not really into advanced came work. Well, the engine sounds.. It's a question of taste. Well, some of engine sountracks could have been synched a little bit better. To sum up, I give 7,5-8 out of ten. Good job. Carry on and good luck. You are doing great.
