Quote from Scawen :Um... we're the ones spending every day working on this, as a creative adventure. Intrepid really understands this, very well. And a lot of people in our community do understand that we take our time and work on things in a different way from other businesses and get some good results...

Quote from bmwe30m3 :have you tried turning it off and on again?

Great!

Since the long time and maniacal care taken in its still-ongoing development, I would guess that when we have the improved tyre physics, everything (drifting included) will handle better.

Recently there was a user complaining about Scawen's lack of news, so here's a bump to this useful RSS thingy.

And for Firefox users:

Quote from pärtan :...Cool idea. Maybe a function to "record" a race-line from driving a lap yourself.

Your idea is even cooler!

Yes, sorry, I don't know what I saw...or drank...
Images are still messed on my side, too.

Years ago (12!) we had Flipcams
https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/25674

Don't have a clue wether it still works or not.

Since Victor doesn't accept PMs, we just have to hope he stops by and writes something about this issue.

I'm editing the main page, following this link
https://m.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Images#Syntax
and making some blind tries:

Change the logo syntax to
[[File:Lfss2.jpg|frame|left]]
and under the image you can read "left" as text (same with "right");

If you edit it to
[[File:Lfss2.jpg|frame|right|1000px]]
you can now read "1000px", so it looks like some bug.

Change the logo syntax to
[[File:Lfss2.jpg|left|frameless]]
(you can as well delete the "left" part) and the image shrinks quite a bit.

...More confused than before ;-)

MandulAA, I found this

I still need to read it though

Quote from Jatimc :Good thinking, but i think you all missed the point here...

Yes, and you're the only one who got it, aren't you? Please!
FWIW, you can as well stop playing it now.

About your first issue: I'm sorry to contradict you, but on my side (W10 Home) it works with Chrome (top left), FF (top right), Opera (bottom left), and IE (bottom right).

It's as if Wiki changed its image resize syntax rules...
I mean, before images were "right", while now, without any editing, the same old image tags ignore size parameters...weird.

Yesterday it worked.
Now it's just a blank page for me too.

Quote from UnknownMaster21 :Isn't DX9 attached already to LFS files everytime you download it?

Yes, that's what that page says: DX9 (or some of its needed components) is bundled with LFS.
My post was intended to state that Microsoft still seems to provide those links.

Bumped to (try to) catch Scawen's attention...
@ DEVS: DirectX 9.0c (June 2010 update)

At the official (LFS) "Obtaining and Installing DirectX 9" page, you wrote that "You probably came to this page looking for a download link to the proper DirectX 9 files. However Microsoft doesn't seem to provide them anymore, so there is no download link anymore...".

EDIT: text on that page has changed, according to Scawen's post

Closely following another DirectX9 game (Orbiter) I have a couple links that we use to share among users:

DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)
Version: 9.29.1974
File Name: directx_Jun2010_redist.exe
Date Published: 4/18/2011
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

and

DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer
Version: 9.29.1974
File Name: dxwebsetup.exe
Date Published: 4/18/2011
https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=35

Maybe they are the same runtimes you included in LFS?
