I was about to report this and found your thread. I have the same problem and it looks rubbish when the lines just appear like that.

Geforce 8800GTX 768mb
Asus P5N32-SLI
Corsair Dominator 2x1024mb

Im using V-Synk and 16x Anti Aliasing and 16x Anistropic Filtering with the Nvidía software!

I thought LFS Tweak was for S2 Licensed only... Maybe you are running an old version.

Ok... No crashes since the last W9 and W10..

I get the same problem. Its after the W9 patch. Game crashes when playing. Sound hangs and repeats itself over and over. Screen gets black and i get the error popup in windows.

Heres a tip mate. Whenever you missing a file. Just google the file and most of the times you find it in the first posts.

Fonnybone it would be nice if you could give some information about LFSTweak development. Are there any progress or is the whole project on ice?

You have had your free time during christmas and patch V is out which means its a great opportunity to release Tweak 0,5V!

Patch Q isnt fun anymore due to the poor physics. Im waiting patiantly for any news.

Yes you do. I cant see why you are asking this question in the first place. As i see it i there are two ways to check.
1. Start the smokemod and start LFS.
2. Start the smokemod and close it, then start LFS.

If it doesnt work. You must have the wrong version or something. And again. That important information is in the very useful readme.

You can have it anywhere you like. You need the .exe and the .cfg on the same location.

But for lan and the admin password make sure in the config you have only ONE forward slash before your admin pass.

ie: /admin=password NOT //admin=password

Are you playing and running the dedicated server on the same computer or have it in LAN?

If you have it on LAN. Try connect with that computers IP.

You can check http://www.lfsworld.net/ . Login as Guest and click "Racers and hosts online". Find your server there?

Otherwise its the same boring stuff. Check firewalls and routers.

When i start a dedicated server on CPU1 (public) i cant join the server from CPU2. I cant even find it in the server list. But I can connect through LAN (with IP). But i cant log in as Admin.
Correct me if im wrong. But i type my admin password in the ordinary password field.

Should it be possible for me to see my server from the server list?
Can i log in as admin when connected through LAN?

I think you should download and install another copy of the game. No patches. Just the 2 files and Mekanik.

1. Download Mekanik. P02 seems to be the most popular. Try that one first. Then unpack it anywhere. Desktop is a nice spot.
2. Download LFS.exe and ABC.abc (check first post). Replace LFS.exe in the LFS folder and replace ABC.abc in the LFS/DATA/ABC folder.
3. Run LFS and Run Mekanik.

If there are any problems. READ the first post. Fonny have updated his post with important links. Good luck!

Very nice. I hope we get new physics soon. There is just not enough grip. 4x4 is a must when tweaking with mekanik. And when LFSTweak2 arrives and turbo pressure and stuff is tweakable (if it will be possible), we do need grip!
