Rulebook updated to V1.2 with the following addition:
  • 5.3 The server password shall be given out by the administration team only
This means that drivers who currently have the server password may not give it out to new signups. If someone needs the password they should PM myself, tmehlinger, z-ro 8, boothy, CSF, or phatdragonx.

This rule will be applied from Round 5 on.

Yeah and they're all gonna get squeezed onto a curb/small hill* and flip and lose.

*not joking, FXRs can flip on literally anything here.

Quote from Timo1992 :No FE4 standard please, it's just not that funny like FE4r and many curbs on the normal Black configuration are less dangerous reversed.

Already some news about the balancing in GT1 @ RM?

There are no less than 10 legitimate places in FE4R for XRR/FXR to flip. Have fun with 16HouFZRs.

Joe I just looked at your hotlap, and you cut the fast chicane so that all four tires are on the green and two go over the middle sleeping policeman, then you do the same for the 2nd to last apex.

I don't see the difference between him cutting three times to your two really, both are doing something you'd never do in real life, just he did it better (more).

Quote from kart-36 :Hmm, i guess i see it differently to others then :P

Lots of people see it like you do, in more ways than just this. Some have been mentioned but here's all I can think of:
  • Hitting the wall at SO3's final corner
  • Driving on the apron at KY1/r and KY2/r (check KY2R FBM WR)
  • Cutting Green curbs (the one here and the fast chicane) at KY3
  • Button clutch
  • Tire Scrubbing (Some people actually are annoyed by others taking 40 minutes to wear tires down, no lie)
  • Using parts of the track to get a better run (AS2 mostly)
I'm personally OK with the last 2 but the first 4 seems pretty unsporting to me. Everyone will have their own opinions.

Josh, something weird has happened. The event today (the 9th) is listed as being on the 8th, though I have it correct in my post.

No, the streams are only used to show races live, not to show people the news.

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :Sorry if I am wrong, but haven't you forgotten to give highest climber points for that round?

No, you started at the back due to a penalty, not by "earning" it. We actually discussed this before the event as we figured you'd make your way through the field. I suppose I forgot to mention that part when I did up the penalties last time. Hopefully you can understand the logic behind this.

Points standings can be found here

The third round of the Scrappy Standards League took place at the drifter haven, Blackwood GP Reverse (BL1R). Continuing the apparent mantra of the league there was plenty of roughing about resulting in a few penalties. Championship leader Magnus Björndal was unable to make the round but fellow ineX Racing driver Kenneth O'Keefe was able to fill in at the top spot in all three sessions.

Using the draft of league organizer Spencer Rose, Kenneth was able to snatch pole position away from Phil Diaz by 1/100th of a second.

  • 4 point penalty for chat for 27 P.Wdowiarz
In a showing of their pace, the top three qualifiers kept their order in the sprint race. This race was also the first where everyone who started finished the race.

With the top nine finishers from the sprint race reversed on the feature race grid there was quite a bit of jostling for positions. An early drive through (followed by another for speeding on his first) set Phil Diaz back, though his teammate Ken was able to take top spot in the feature race, overtaking eight cars in the process.

  • 1 lap penalty issued to 66 S.Hutchinson for the following offenses
    • spinning 30 K.Tasker at 12 minutes 40 seconds
    • Causing an avoidable incident with 94 P.Diaz at 32 minutes 50 seconds
  • Warning issued to 33 Y.Laprevotte for turning in on 47 C.Wilkinson at 42 minutes 10 seconds
  • Race DQ issued to 94 P.Diaz for the following offenses
    • Avoidable contact with 43 M.Booth at 8 minutes 15 seconds
    • Avoidable contact with 47 C.Wilkinson and 33 Y.Laprevotte leading to position change

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :That's true... Unfortunately there's no way to modify those 2 sections, so we can either:

i) try something with AutoX, but I doubt we'd create something decent.

pik_d and I came up with one for the second chicane that was actually pretty good. Didn't constrict the track too much and added a good overtaking opportunity. I've got no ideas for the first one... maybe castrate anyone who tries to pass there and flies through the tires.

The layout is here for any interested. It's for FE2 but if you rename it to FE4 it works just the same.
