I'd be willing to bet it's either faulty memory or drivers (both as already said).

Had this error come up on a customers computer at work and it was the memory that tested faulty, but often blue screens point to dodgy drivers, dodgy windows install or dodgy memory... Or even the first 2 caused by the 3rd.

Blueflame... Your argument is very weak. Mechanically and visually EU and US Fords are completely different.

There's 'Ford America' then there's 'Ford Europe' (look! 2 different names!) :o

They are built to different road rules, different specs.

Also, if we went along with your argument then Opel are British, are they?

Look at the amount of people disagreeing with you... Doesn't that tell you something... That YOU might be wrong?

Plus the Wiki says "Ford Motor Company that is based in America." If Ford Europe was based in America then it would say "Ford Europe that is based in America." Yes, Ford is American... But the ONLY American thing about Ford Europe is the 4 letters that spell 'Ford' That's it... Just 4 letters in a blue oval... EVERYTHING from design to build is European within Ford Europe... Otherwise it wouldn't be called Ford Europe.

2 things (too much thread to read to know if these have been mentioned before)...

1. the air vents especially in XF cars still look very crap and ruin these 'new' cockpits (yes they look better, but still not good enough IMO)

2. The XF cockpit is a rip off of a mk1 Fiat Punto

Quote from BlueFlame :I hate fords, Bright Oranges and stupid designs, ugly ugly cars, Dreary in every way, interior isn't friendly at all, the Transit van has a nice position to the road, that's it, i'd rather own a Vauxhall, and that's saying something.

Well at least they don't look the same as every other car on the road.

Also I fail to see your 'unfriendly interior' argument... the Focus is very nicely laid out and easy to use with everything in reach!

and I don't really think this is orange:

Infact thinking about it... I very, very rarely see an 'ST Orange' Ford!

Quote from BlueFlame :It's a pointless Idea. You must use your key to open it, meaning you can't turn it over then open the bonnet, nor can you start it, then shut the bonnet without locking it properly. There is no benefit to having this on your bonnet. It should be a bonnet release catch and that's it. That's all you need, why do you need a key? for what reason, would you need a key for it? It's hardly for security reasons is it? Why take the van when we can steal his engine oil! Infact, take his whole SUMP

3 good reasons I can think of straight away:
1. the wire that goes from most cars to the bonnet won't get worn out, because there isn't one, so the bonnet will always be openable. (the biggest gripe I had with the Toyota Yaris was the bonnet wire always stretched so the bonnet was impossible to open alot of the time!)
2. it makes the bonnet more secure because it can't be opened by somebody looking for a wire to pull it needs the key.
3. dumbasses don't open the bonnet while the engine is running and get their fingers caught in the fanbelt (i have heard of it happening before!)... You should only open the bonnet if the engine is off.

Also, you can use the key to open it and then take it out, you don't need the key to close/lock it (in my Focus at least). It's a simple design and it works.

So, I suggest you stop your Ford bashing until you've owned an EU version Ford... Or you could just shut up altogether, I think we'll all win then.

Quote from BlueFlame :Whats with all the Ford talk. They are the worst cars on the road today. Simply, and Truthfully. Transit van is a prime example of a bad van.

If you take that logic then my 2003 Ford Focus should be in the scrap heap now then?

It's a perfectly good and reliable car, had it since September last year, it's need a new regulator in the driver side electric window after a window blew out, and a brake disk has warped due to my dodgy braking.

Other than that the car has been faultless, the way I drive it, it should have a few other things wrong with it, but it doesn't!

Excellent car, so far been reliable as hell mechanically.

And if you're comparing Ford Europe to Ford America... it's like comparing VW with Proton or Tata.
