Well.. Why don't you give it a try than.. Maybe more powerfull is not the right way of saying it.. It seems more controlled and more direct. (And maybe slightly more powerfull )
You have such a fast PC? So why do you want to upgrade??
I have a very old ATI 9800PRO. I'm running LFS at 1920x1200 with v-sync on at a constant 79Hrz!!! Your card should be many-many times faster than mine...
Optimizing the settings makes a big difference with the DFP.
Put overall FFB in control panel on 100% and nothing else. And adjust force strength in the game.
All other forces on 0% and centering disabled.
Also have the wheels firmware set to 60% (more detailed FFB) with LEFT-PADDLE+SELECT+R3. Left LED should flash once.
(Repeat the button combination and it will flash twice for the standard 100% mode. Have it set to the 60% one!!)
You will have to repeat this procedure each time you start your PC or unplug the wheel.
Yeah at 1.33 the setup is definately not holding you back.
I would stick to one set, the one you're using, until you can drive 1.28-1.29 consistantly. Than get a faster, but more unstable, set from one of the fast drivers. So you can go for the 1.23-1.24
Oliver, HERE, is a link to the wireing scheme of the DFP's wheel itself. For if you would like to use one of the original leds. I've also attached it for your ease. All credit goes to Hoopstar as also specified on the image itself.
