Quote from S14 DRIFT :Time to remove my Cupra splitter every git has on their car

Quote from R34GTR :Did you have one before it was cool to have one?

I really want one, but I can't justify £40... I should of got one when they were like £20, but Seat have MASSIVELY raised the price since then

And how it normally looks...

It's always wet, but it's only a bit of standing water... a car could easily drive through it (although the roads so broken up in practice you actually do need a 4x4 to cross it).

Quick example of a UK (flooded) ford...

Would you attempt to drive through that?

I'll try to get the "normal" picture in a sec...

A ford isn't always flooded, but sometimes standing water can end up on top of the road and end up like that. Normally - it's just a road.

I've been in the same situation before, and ignored the satnav and found another route... having said that, a lot of people don't realise the depth markers are there

Quote from PoVo :Oh so now you drove the car and recorded at the same time?

Seems legit.

I don't think Klutch ever claims to be driving the cars - I don't even know if he has one atm.

Unless they run away, it's gotta be 10 men. A Tiger would kill one or two, but two actually kill (rather than injure) takes time, which would give the men enough time to attack.

Quote from Flotch :my first car [...] a VW Polo Fancy [...] 1989 [...] with a 1050cc producing 40bhp

[...]second car was a Peugeot 207 with a 1.6L producing 110bhp

My "new" car is Mercedes c class 55 amg, a rwd with a 5.4L V8 producing 367bhp

I bet that was quite a big jump!

Quote from PoVo :Am I missing something or the duct tape is the small mod?

Some dick hit my car and drove off, the duct tape is covering the crack. I've got a new bumper to fit when I have some time to do so.

It's the red calipers thats the mod though.

My girlfriend bought a DSLR (D40) and managed to take a pretty damn awesome picture (i.e. it looks better than most of mine and it hasn't been post-processed!)

That, but mainly profit (stripping it for it's valuable optional extras).

In the UK it's very very easy if you know the right people - parking companies can get information (name & address of registered keeper) in a day or two...

Quote from theirishnoob :to be fair, the xrgt isn't the best handling car ever made...

Neither the XFG - The XRG is a small, light RWD car with very little power - it's pretty difficult to get anything too wrong, but it still lets you use the throttle to steer the car a little... one of my favourite cars tbh.

225/45/18's? Good luck... expect your wallet to get raped, hard.

225/40's are very common, but very few cars use 225/45's (only ones I can think of - RX8, MG ZT, M3 fronts) so they are normally very expensive

EDIT - For comparison, in the UK I'm looking for some 225/45/18's atm - I want Falken FK452's, and it's looking like it'll be ~£250-£265, for a pair, fitted

Quote from RiseAgainstMe! :Wait, this all begs an even more wtf worthy thing to me... y'all can start pumping gas without paying first? How does that even...? Why?

That's the simplest solution by far. Just make it impossible to do.

In the UK you put in the fuel and then pay.

Might seem alien to you... but how would you get a full tank in the US?

Burning the tinsel leads probably means your putting too much power through it, HOWEVER it could just mean a poor quality sub. With a decent sub, the voice coil should give up long before the tinsels melt.
