I would like to know that too, since I don't see a difference in 'smoothness' between 60 and 75 hz.

Quote from danowat :bump!!!.

Ok, so since my last Half marathon, I've been training hard, also adding bike rides into the mix, doing a 6mile run, then a fast 8mile ride, with a view to Dualathons in the future.

Yesterday I did my 4th 10K, and I managed a pb of 58mins 36secs, which I was well pleased with, although I did think to myself if I had gone 36secs quicker, I'd have had 57mins!!!!.

An improvement is an improvement, and I've come a fair way since my first 10k in 68mins.

Onwards and upwards, second half marathon in a months time

Garmin race stats from the last 10k race

Grats on your new pb danowat Just out of curiosity, what Garmin device are you using? I bought a forerunner 60 with footpod a couple of months ago and I'm still uncertain if a gps-gadget like the 305 would have been the better choice.

No probs with Z17 so far. Tested on two different machines (c2d & gtx260, p4 & 7600gt). Fps are identical to Patch Z on both systems

Valve announced some kind of trading/exchange-system for the items iirc. Maybe I can trade one of my three Natashas for a hat or something...

edit: aargh, should have read ChiliFan's post

--major bump--

Anyone played the new KOTH-maps already? I couldn't stop playing koth_viaduct last night, what a great map for a nice mode! Great stuff delivered by Valve (as almost always).

*goes away searching for hat*

The fact that netKar is one of the very few sims for the hardcore crowd justifies a little support or a tiny bug report, don't you think?

edit: arghh posted too late :-)

I spent the whole afternoon pressing the bug reporting button. There's no way to start the FF1600 in the full version, no dirt builds up on the visor, you can't change the aim-led's any more, there's no way to set the replay-length, the FF2000 tires feel like solid rubber, the FFB seems to be messed up and feels artificial.....etc...etc....and the worst part is: the collision-detection is as inaccurate and unpredictable as in 1.03

Still pluggin away, getting faster (if only by a fraction) and fitter, still having shoe issues, my Asics GT2140, whilst comfy, are a pain in the arch, literally.
...

It can be a pain in the arse to find the right shoes! I tried around five pairs over the last year just to find the right ones (Asics Gel Fortitude 3 2E). The times are hard for heavy runners (90 kg/1,92 m) with normal pronation/slight supination.

If I were you I would definetly choose the large Half Marathon. I did a rather big Half Marathon this year and the atmosphere was absolutely great, not to mention the gallons of free beer at the finish

Quote from Postman Pat :Still, that Greger Huttu seems to have adapted his ISI skills rather well to iRacing physics. And some say it's nearly as good as LFS!

I believe Mr Huttu would adapt his driving-skills to ANY sim coded on earth or other inhabited planets
