I say that it wont affect fps. The textures would just appear as gray or w/e.

Weird, im running on E8200 (Clocked to 3.2Ghz) and HD4870 and games play fine. Maybe u should check ur PSU, mobo or something like that?

I wouldnt mind bigger ramps, but i think they will bring out the unrealistic parts of the game - im pointing at flying out of map into the infinite drop.

Its not what u think it is. 32bit is set in "options>screen" (with resolution). I cant exactly recall what that 24bit means, but its something u should not worry about. We all have it on 24bit.
