There seems to be a problem with skins created with CS as in layers. If layers are created they don't show in Gimp or PSP even if you use the PSD files.

I have found this as a really nice gentlemen created T7R skins for me, and because he used layers etc etc, you cannot view them in anything else but CS.

I hope that explains it, to the best of my ability

From what I know, you need the PSD files to then create a DDS file, as its the DDS file that works with AC. Like I said, I am no expert, that is just what I have been told

That was some nice driving there Boris..but....really, 8mins per lap and also you looked like you was driving on egg shells ( UK saying as is in Tippy toe ) and you call that a pleasure??

Each to their own I suppose, but for racing, I could not think of anything worse. No wonder this is purely a test track now and F1 gave it up years ago, but give the guy credit...it does look good

PS - If you didn't know already, once you have selected your car, and Booking time as gone, you cannot log out and change your car. This is a designed that way, so if you pick the wrong car...tough....until server restarts after the race has finished

It shouldn't to be honest, as AC is/has a lot more to offer than LFS....I know joining a server is a balll ache...but that is at the moment...that can change rather quickly...Scawen has alot to worry about, trust me, and you know I am a LFS fan and have been for years....

If this is not a wake up call, then nothing will be. Apart from Joining a AC server, the rest makes LFS look old...very old, and i hate saying this, i really so, but for the first time....LFS is now playing catchup, and I hope it does

I am so surprised, there is no way on earth that any Dev / game developer has not tried LFS. to see the online system, the way the skins work, pick up racing the way a dedicated server works..need I go on to find out why LFS is / was so popular...LFS is so simple, and its freely available for anybody to test..so there is not excuse.

I take it nobody is hosting tonight then...so I will give it a bash.

Server will be up in 30mins, lets say 7:45pm UK time

I will shorten the booking to 3 mins, and also the practice to 8mins ( should at least give you 4 laps ) and also Qual to 8mins, again give you 4 laps...race I will set to 7 laps, nothing major....just as a test.

I will only open 16 slots, as I don't know how my connection will handle AC ( although I could have 25+ easily on LFS )

Server will be called T7R Server
Password = triple7

But why do i have this wierd feeling that multiplayer will not improve to the standard we all hope for.
I mean for the first build they thought the booking would be a great start, server to restart after each race, that you can't complete a quali lap when the timer counts out, that you get the results table across the screen when the first guy crosses the line even if you're still racing..

I agree, the "leave a server to rejoin" is just anal IMHO, but the table screen/race finished with 1st driver cross's the line, is a server setup issue. I have seen the settings and I would set the End Race for 2mins. That way everybody gets to finish, I mean if don't finish a lap within 2mins behind the lead car, lapped or not, then you really shouldn't be driving ROFL

I noticed if I got that message, I left it 2-3 seconds, and clicked join again and it worked

Also I wrote this on AC forum....Apart from the obvious, if they done these quick fixes, it would make AC a lot more enjoyable...what you think??
