i think fernbay still looks ok. eric should better work on other things, imho.

but if he is reworking it, he could widen the rx track a little bit though.

gran turismo (was definately the first step i took from arcade racing to simulations)

Both are great cars! LX6 is way more fun on the faster tracks, the LX4 is catered a lot more to the old S1 tracks. LX6 is my favorite, but I gotta say the LX4 is really fun to throw around... and you can really 'punch' the throttle down in and out of corners and it gets some great grip.

like others said, [dSRC] is hosting FE Gold with the LX4 at the moment, and it is a good combo. We also raced at Aston National REV last friday, and that was boring, the car doesn't feel 'proper' there. Still, my point is, drive the cars on a track that is well suited to it. LX6 is fun everywhere, but LX4 there has to be some exceptions.

I've always been an LX fan in LFS, haven't liked any others as much as them I guess.

maybe the lx4 seems to be boring to me, because there IS a lx6. if there weren't a lx6 i maybe would praise the lx4 too . imho the lx6 really isn't much harder to drive than the lx4, it's just more fun. it's extra weight makes it less twitchy.

oh yeah, that crashing sound is really annoying. crashing is annoying enough, but this noise terror in addition sometimes really drives me mad :P.

If you are following another racer closely it is already too late to brake when you see the redlights flashing, anyway.

I don't see the problem here.

1:10 kyosho beetle
1:8 4wd 3,5ccm top gun (buggy)
and two very simple 1:8 3,5 ccm 2wd roadcars

the buggy was definately the most fun .

electric is nice, but i love the power and noise of a 'real' engine. i hate the maintenance though :P.

i never understood this sport.....it's just stupid.

well i prefer a sound that sounds like a car, even if it is not as 'exact' as the lfs sound.

but well, i like playing quake with textures and lightning even if it's more difficult to see the enemys. it's just more pretty. i know that's noobtalk.

it's not your fault that the AI doesn't pit (there is nothing you can do about it). i would consider it a bug, that will be fixed in the future.

i think the lfs engines got a terrible sound.

the fxo is that fast because it's power/weight ratio is the best. its too light.

a smoking gun in the hand is barely compareable with not having properly registered in a forum. and why is it impossible that someone has driven the F08 on a convention or at his friend? weird attitude.

i think this one is better than the fxo clip. nice driving!
