I use Go Launcher, never had a problem with it.

Juice Defender is a brilliant little app. It'll silently switch off certain battery-draining features of your phone such as Wifi, Bluetooth, Mobile data, etc and silently wake them back up again if an app needs them. You can set it periodically wake things up, and to automatically wake things up if you turn the screen on, and there's no noticeable lag at all.

It works brilliantly - without it my phone will run out of battery around 3-4pm on a normal day at work; with JD running, it'll last all day right up till 9-10pm.

A few times when I reinstalled my old XP machine, the product key wouldn't work. I just rang the 24 hour number it gave me, spoke to someone who asked me to confirm that I was only installing it on that one machine (he was satisfied with me just saying 'yes') and they gave me a new activation code.

The whole thing took about 5 minutes.

I'll add Mass Effect to my list. This series passed me by entirety the first time round but I got for £2.75 on Steam last week and am hooked - the best thing is there's still two games to go after this one.
