Quote from [SWE]RE :And the name of that friend would be..?

Exactly that I was talking about. FYI - he hardly ever races online, far from having forum account - don't know his username. Sometimes I do some racing at his place.

Back on topic - currently it's very beta. But if you're intrested I may give you the apps (for PC and cell) with their source codes.

Quote from flonoen :Well, i guess somebody has to be first to mention it. Demo account and BF1?

Anyways. Nice work. Not the biggest fan of the nokia-gauge, but the other one was nice, maybe a bit low "resolution" on the steppermotor, but i guess a servo will fix that, which will be your next project as you say.

"Gameplay by a friend" - I added that for a purpose. I hope there won't be flamewars coming now.

@oldnavy - you mean Nokia app?
Hardware showing LFS stats

I thought it would be intresting to see people's hardware showing various LFS stats (speed, RPM, turbo - whatever). And oh - it has to be DIY. Wouldn't be very interesting seeing a bunch of G15s displaying data on it's LCD.

Mine:

visual RPM gauge on Nokia 3110c - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQhmRZLyylE (gameplay by a friend).

RPM gauge with a needle - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skIKF4Aun9c.

Currently in progress - turbo gauge with a servo motor.

Quote from tisy0 :The real answer is No you can't,
I'm thinking byte1 is a cracker, so don't attempt cracking LFS if you don't want to get in trouble with the mods, just be glad your driving round in 3 good cars

YES YOU CAN. http://www.google.ee/search?q= ... cial&client=firefox-a

How people can be so sure in their answer if it's still wrong?

Yes, you can. Use Google.

There's no general formula, just try decreasing and increasing until you get right kW's and other stats.

To other poster - is this your freaking problem? I don't see "moderator" status under any of your names. So help or stfu, please. Really sad to see, how this demo-racer-racism is spreading like a disease.

Quote from SniperX :"Nice" answer, mr. Hiroshima...

Actually the usage of the .net Framework 3.5 not documented in the first post in this thread, and not in the lfs-database articles.

The only reference to .net 3.5 is some "angry" posts about it here and under the discussion threads at lfs-database.

For someone not used to install ekstra undocumented "addons" the errormessages from the app is not very good.

To answer Bubba's question:
.net Framework is a Microsoft framework with commands and utils that independent developpers can use.

.net can be downloaded from Microsoft.com:
http://www.microsoft.com/downl ... 7d32a6&DisplayLang=en

It's on my site - in bold, red text and in bigger font. Some dumb f...s still refuse to read that.

Wtf settings.ini? Tweak Z doesn't use any external files except 1/2 dlls.

And you are missing framework 3.5. Why won't people read anything that comes before their post?

Sure it's demo car? I don't think so. There is no demo car that has turbo.

It's not about the variables - adding new setting needs some amount of work. And if you find 4 variables/memory addresses/settings/whatever - adding those to the tweak takes some effort.

Increase fuel tank capacity then?

Download .NET Framework 3.5.

I found mem. settings for rims too, but I didn't bother dealing with them. Maybe BeSpoke devs would update their tweak?

EDIT: @Shotglass, just download .NET Framework.

FFS, download framework or stop whining. You obviously have no idea why is the error such.

Add the tweak to your firewall exceptions list to make sure firewall isn't blocking the connection.

There is slickmod already built in in latest tweak (v2), search lfs-database for my homepage..

No you don't. You need to go to lfs-database and lfstweak is just there, on the front page..

Quote from S3ANPukekoh3 :Yeh hard... But when will there be a slickmod for Z?

Quote from skstibi :Damn! People want Stereo systems in LFS?! One of my cars does not have a radio and the other car is missing a few speakers.

Did you people even read what I wrote??! I haven't said a word of building it into LFS.

I haven't even mentioned putting it in next patch, if that was your idea. And it's very possible I think.. Just don't have skills coding audio apps. With Insim it would quite "easy" I guess?
