Besides all that has been said, having a baby can't really be compared with programming.

Adding more people does work (faster development) when done properly.

Windows 7 is NOT Vista, you need to search only a few minutes to see it has significant upgrades, mostly resource management has been deeply redesigned - this alone is enough to justify a new version.

MS also needs to get rid of the 'Vista' trademark since that label is doing more harm than good right now, even though the OS has been vastly improved since its first release.

So its good for people and its good for MS, Windows 7 indeed has a point.
