Forgot to reply yesterday At least I put my reply in a text document though for future use
Thanks for that Flame, but we'd actually edited that bit in the 2nd picture for A12, just hadn't transferred the armco/tyres etc to A16 Though it had a bit too many objects for my liking, we used the chalk in the first picture, cheers.
EQ, a lot to take in so we'll be going through it all shortly But A21-3 seem fine, and I've attached A11-19 (including renaming 16 to 14 - also moved the splits to the opposite for each direction). Splits seem to be perfect for stopping cutting - and just to confirm, you can tell where the splits/restricted areas are via Airio?
As for B23/R, we realise it's not exactly something you'd hold a MoE race on, but for short fun races it's great and it'll be staying in the pack. Adding massive barrier protrusions from the two most exciting corners spoils it - the jump is even more dangerous from one side and from the other the jump turns it into a gentle hill! The other corner is arguably even more dangerous now with even less space to manoeuvre. Though if you want it to be added as B24 let us know.
Regards the .pth files - a shame you aren't able to do K33 - it's the longest config and I think being used for the 16 hour race - maybe give it a try at some point
After a successful test rally, round 1 proper will take place on Sunday 17th July at 1700 UTC, with the Rally of South City featuring 4 stages - see the opening post for the layouts.
The same rules as the test rally will apply, although you will be able to change your car. If you signed up for the test rally, there is no need to sign up again. The 4 servers will also be online shortly.
Session of Incident: Race
Timecode of incident: 8:50
Your Car Number: 43
Other Car(s) Involved: 8
Brief Description of incident: two cars collide and spin off to the right on the back straight, I move to the left and try to brake at my normal point, before being rear ended by car 8.
See next time, can you just post a few screenshots of each of the video's scenes and the music you used, it would save watching almost 3 minutes of vignetted, slow motion, wide angle bits of footage which really are just a waste of time to watch and serves no real purpose in promoting anything? Thanks.
The same could happen to iRacing or any other game or any other website.
But if you get the IP from connecting to the server, it must mean someone who goes on your servers is doing it or has given the IP to someone else - so perhaps change the IP, password the server, see if it keeps doing it and work out who it could be. Or maybe your website and LFS server are on the same IP, so it would be really easy to get it from resolving the domain name.
Don't talk shit, buying LFS doesn't protect you from DDoS attacks - it's like paying someone to make a website and then having it DDoS'd - nothing they can do about that...
And just to confirm my previous point about Di Resta, Nige confirms it was decided as a racing incident as one driver didn't give the other enough room
Clearly the stewards have better camera angles than our one at Brooklands (which showed that Buemi wasn't exactly giving Di Resta acres of room...) - goes back to the Monaco discussion, it's the risk you take not giving people on your inside room - and in this case Buemi paid the ultimate penalty of retirement.
Incidentally, did anyone notice at the final corner one lap, Webber I think it was having to make a massive dart to the inside of an HRT after he moved to the inside to let him through - remember kids, be predictable as a backmarker
Also what's with the shitty chequered flag (with a sponsor or something in the middle) waving at the past couple of GPs?
But great stuff on the forum with Eddie and Damon re: Spa 1998
Pretty sure there was no speed limit back then, and just look at the amount of people in the pitlane (when there's no stops ongoing) compared to nowadays.
Actually sorry but we will be delaying it a week. I forgot there's no OWRL on the week after due to the summer break, so we have space. We'll post the layouts by the end of the week and set everything up this weekend with a new thread.
They said it was scanned when they came over and did Zolder. And surely if you have teams gallivanting across the world to scan things, you also have a team back at base working on the stuff you've scanned previously? They've released point clouds etc of Oulton but nothing more, seems like they haven't got very far...
