Hey guys,

I wanted to make a few suggestions of what i would love to see in the future.
(Sorry if these have already been suggested i looked through the list of suggestions and didnt see these)

1) 3D Text for InSim buttons, just want to be able to use/create 3d text buttons like the ones above players cars, so we can use them on/around the track or even attach them to other cars. (also the ablity to color Insim Buttons rather than just Clear dark / light)

2) Teleportation: InSim to be able to teleport/move the players car to an x/y position on the map.

3) Moveable objects: Not sure if the current AXM allows InSim to edit/move/place objects but would be great to have some objects that InSim can move so we can make gates etc out of objects.

4) Programmable AI: the server can add AI and the ablity for InSim to create a course that the AI can follow or that it will follow to a certain x/y point, or in general just alot more control over the AI Vehicles, (IE Setting their name rather than AI1, set a skin + plate)

5) InSim Chat Control: the ability for InSim to stop/cease player messages so we can enable that 1 player can ignore another players messages or if somebody swears etc we can stop the whole chat going through or be able to parse the message and replace the swear with **** then let it send to the server.

Ok i'm getting desperate i'm willing to offer atleast £5gbp paypal money for somebody who can lay out this equation for me in C# and have it working atleast to a stage where i can finish it

as i explained before i suck at maths and really want this figured out.

i'm baffled? shall i remove the link or not i dont see it as a "CHEAT" as described it just cuts your engine i allow it on my server as i use it myself so i dont see what the problem with it is, but if you really want me to remove it i will.

i don't actually know where the program came from all i know is that a member of our community uploaded it.

EDIT: The description of the program doesnt show anybodys name other than DTD, so it doesnt really show who owns it.

Well that last post is not entirely true from what i heard you ripped off tom?

he came into wkd today moaning that he paid for the servers and you never helped out with the payments or wanted to continue with it or something. not trying to start a war/fight or anything just a shame to see UGC go down, good luck with your new project

ok i've been staring at this for a while and still can't figure it out, i must be stupid

would you be able to rename the values so i can get a better understand to

for the players pos

PosY

for the point and then

H for heading, i assume that's the values you've told me to use here. if not i'm just dumb :P

just to make it a little simpler for me. as i dont even get where or wat r0 is and if you could could you explain the math equations coz i dont get what you mean by (beta) thanks.

well any step to get me onto the right direction would be greatly appreciated..

if somebody could lay out the math i need to do or what values etc i need to get and set it would help me alot as i feel like i'm trying to find a needle in a haystack in the dark lol

EDIT: the values doesnt need to be 100% accurate but atleast close

Hey guys i'm hoping you could help me,

i was wondering what math does it take exactly to show a button as if it's static on the track but have it move across your screen accordingly to your heading

i was told it could be trigonometry but i can't find anything that really helps out and i'm not exactly brilliant at maths.

if anybody could help me out with, figuring out which values i need to get and compare them etc, I would greatly appreciate it.

birdman i dont know wat your problem was we trusted you as an admin and then you abused that power by attempting to destroy the website

the donations are provided for the server to run otherwise we wouldnt of been able to run this long if we didnt have donators as nothing in this world is for free.

if you had a problem i dont see why you didnt try and disucss the matter with the admins rather than doing a fail attempt to destroy it

well i hope you a have a fun time with watever you choose to do next but i can assure you that you are not welcome back.

first of all sorry for double post and completly off-topic

but there is a guy calls himself Captain Slow (Username: pro_drift_93)

he is going around claiming ownership of LFS_External and the copyright of the whole programme he tried threatning with courts and legal stuff aswell.

These are his claims.

i dont understand why you have a conn.cs all you need to do is define the var


var Conn = Connections[GetConnIdx(PACKET HERE.UCID)];

with the packet here you can replace it with whatever packet you are coding under.

if you look above in the MCI you will find the var Conn = Connection something or other. that just means Conn = the player .. so i really don't see any problem here.

dont use MCI.Info rather use the compcar packets as i find it works alot more effecient and it can be used anywhere within the source.
