ok, I'll redo it
remeber to rebook

Edit: Come to think of it, the qual is gonna be a clusterf**k. The track has the S/F about a minute from the pits, it counts that as a full lap... Oh well.

My gaming rig is unavailable at the moment. How many pit slots does this version have?

I'm setting up an ACSGT race on the ring tonight, need to know how many slots I should set up.

Feel free to join if you are up for it.

M3 E30 standard edition starting around 8pm CET. The race will be about a tank's worth of laps, not sure yet how many laps you can go without refuelling the E30 on road tires.
I'm guessing tire management will be an issue toward the end... :-)

Also make sure you install them to the actual steam folder, not the /my documents folder

In ACSGT we usually run longer races, and we're a mature crowd. Currently moving to a new website so there's only the 40's club thread at AC forum to organize stuff right now. We had a great race in the GrpA E30, 15 laps at Mugello. The short races and constant restarting was and is my major gripe with LFS MP, so a little longer races is a welcome sight.

I'm trying to keep a server up from later tonight, theserver name will contain ACSGT and the pass will be "the40s" for my server (the one in Norway).

make sure you list servers that are open for booking. I have two open at the moment, both starting with ACSGT in the name, password is "the40s" on both. See if you can get in at all.

That's what I read into it as well. Not that it'll be released before friday, but it'll be released when it's done, they won't wait for a friday to release.

Oh the shitstorm they will receive for postponing the MP.... Poor guys...

Most of the cars jiggle a bit when you brake on the limit. The tires are using most of the available grip to slow the car, so directional stability suffer.

I find it a bit weird too, to be honest. I've driven and overdriven an MX5 on slicks, and it's very predictable and easy to drive, even if overdriven. Yes, you can spin it, but in those cases you know why, unlike in iRacing (last time I tried, been a while). I had so many unexplainable spins in the MX5, especially under braking, it just feels like the brake balance is way too far rear or something. In rF2, AC and LFS you usually understand why you spin, but the iR spins seem unprovoked to me. Put me off the game, really.

pitstops and race weekends would be pretty brilliant.

Quote from tristancliffe :Sadly I don't prance around in tights much these days, but I was asked yesterday if I wanted to audition for a part.

The racing itself doesn't make much time at all. That's a couple of hours of sitting in a car once a month. It's the fact that:

If the engine needs work/rebuilds/fettling then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.
If the gearbox needs work/rebuilds/fettling then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.
If the bodywork needs work/fettling then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends (although I don't personally do the actual painting, but I do do a lot of the prep and a lot of the carbon work).
If the data needs looking at between races then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.
If I want the car setup before the race then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.
If I want to work out what setup to put on the car, or what changes to make from last time then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.
If I need tyres changing/fitting on the wheels (away from the weekend) then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.
If the truck/quad/trolleys need work then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.
If I need parts then I have to save up and order them, and then fit them.
If the workshop needs cleaning/tidying then I have to do it myself in my evenings/weekends.

In short, I don't have a lot of free time in my evenings and weekends.

Seems to me you got a lot of time during the weekdays...?

Apart from advertising I don't see anywhere for Zuckerberg to get that money back. And he's NOT doing it for charity.

"They say..." doesn't cut it here, I'm afraid

That clamp is the one thing that bring this wheel down. It's utter shite in any configuration. This wheel is meant for permanent mounting, that much is certain.

Let's hope they paved the way for other such products. At least they showed the world there's a market for a working VR solution

Undriveable? It's bloody brilliant, and one of the most easily chuckable hypercars I've tried in a sim. I can see this becoming my new drifting favourite.. :-)
