Have had a few people start doing this to me, end up one of either 2 ways, He knock himself out / He takes us both out (Then I get 'Sorryyy :shy.
I find a annoying as hell trying to be good (have been accused of blocking and tbh I was a bit, lesson learned) and let people by on the inside, and then having some idiot refusing to pass you and risking both mine and his race.
Then they should sort out the code and get it somewhere near w3c standard. Am starting as a web dev and wouldnt dream of releasing a site that wasnt cross browser compatable.
Precision force feedback, if thats still the MS one but FF, make sure it comes with the install CD or you will have the same problem, and yeah this no-admin sounds like a win problem. Also as mounthy said make sure it is the USB version.
Not sure why it comes up with those admin probs, but these are the drivers I use on my WindowsXP Home Sp2, and the control panel works and I am using seperate axis. My Wheel is a Sidewinder USB Non-FF.
I has the same problem, took me AGESSSSS to find the right ones that would work with XP. If it comes to it I can upload the installer somewhere so you can download it.
Have to say this is key to me not even considering it yet. I am interested but not willing to throw 24 beans at it, when I havent even tried the current version.
