Pics: When playing LFS, I just move my monitor over to the cockpit, works out pretty good. Also use a set of headphones for sound, forget what brand they are, I need a new set anyway.

Ah yeah, they are both 2048x2048. The high res skins should be 2048x2048, not 1024x1024

I can resize if you want, both the HSBC and Prost 1024s were uploaded to LFSWorld.

What springs did you use to replace the stockers in the shifter? Looks pretty cool

If you are renting, you are only getting paid if you drive fast, and you dont get paid untill your renter gives you the cash. So if you have a crappy renter, you may not get paid!

Going to remove the Tein guy, maybe make it smaller and put it on the rear bumper or something. And I know the bolts on the front lip arent perfectly straight, going to fix that tomorrow.

Yah I lost my XRG 3 times tonight! Made me mad haha. When you loose a car, you get money back(lose connection, ect). But you dont get the full money back only part. Why cant we get the full money for the cars we lose? Its aggrivating, I dont play enough to have a stock pile of money

Ive always favored the RAC. I just love the way it drives and the powerband it does have. But there are not competitive servers that use the RAC so I usually just use it on the "fun" servers.

As of late, Ive found myself having a ton of fun in the XFG on the STCC New and Gold servers. Probably my overall favorite for competitive racing would be the UF1000

Looks like thats mostly PC specs with the occasional "rig". I dont care about the computer specs, I want to see the wheel setups and the cockpits people have made

Just buy S2, or at least S1. Not for the Avatar and sig features, but for the game! Support the Devs! You dont know how much you are missing out on just being a demo racer. The Demo is fun and all, but S2 is so much more fun

Also, Act Labs used to make a "Performance" pedal set with a clutch, IIRC its been discontinued. I have the Logitech G25 which has a great set of pedals with clutch. You can get the whole wheel setup for under $250 now, which isnt too terribly bad.

By far the cheapest is to "combine" two pedal sets and use the gas pedal off the second pedal set as the clutch. LFS should recognize both pedal sets, so all you have to do is assing the correct pedals in the game.

You could always make your own pedal set, theres tutorials on how to do so all over the net and RSC(www.racesimcentral.com)

Would be cool to have an AutoX management system. So you can have AutoX competitions without people randomly joining the course out of their order.

But spiffing up some of the car models(mainly interior and undercarriage) would be cool. And finishing the engine/drivetrain physics would be cool.

Im seriously happy with Patch V though, it makes the cars so much more fun to drive

When it first came out there were lots of servers and lots of people could drive them. I havent driven it in awhile but the car is a blast to run on Blackwood, getting sub 1min laps is so easy in the BF1. I dont see a reason why people dont drive it more. With the right setup, its not that hard to drive.

I had the old style GPL shifter and it was nice. Felt a little better then the G25 shifter as it was taller and more comfortable. But it still had the same flimsyness that the G25 shifter has, just a lack of resistance and what not.

For the curious, what was wrong?
