French translation for the word "REPLAY"
This is not much of an improvement but the word RALENTI used to translate REPLAY actually means "slow motion" and could be changed to VIDEO (VIDEOS on the front page).

I hope that the guy in charge of the french translation would agree.
rejoue?
I'm all for Anglicising the French, Video it is then
I think most of french use the word "replay". "Ralenti" effectively means "slow motion", but it's also used to speak about "replay".

"Rejouer" means "play again"

So I vote for "replay"

Et puis on s'en fout quoi
So what is the translation of De Ja Vous ?
deja vu ??? (allready seen (or maybe olrédi sin))
ahhh, i see (again) (sorry about the spelling,(de ja vous) but it has been over 20 years since i was taught French at school ) and every time i've been to France, you all speak such bloody good english, there's been no need to learn the language, us British folk really suck at being Europeans

olredi sin..... lol

Il est clair que ça ne change pas grand chose mais les trads un peu rapides sont quand même franchement nazes. Je n'ai pas parlé des "quals" et de la "fin des quals" mais tout francophone parle de "qualifs". Quand à remettre "replay" à la place de "ralenti", ça confine à la bétise (comme ne pas connaître la racine latine de video).

Ok, poor translation is certainly not a big issue. Let me add that the shortened form for "qualifications" in french has NEVER BEEN "quals" but "qualifs". Speak about ever making the same mistakes then. Most of the existing VG translations were done with screen contraints from english versions. Hopefully, LFS's interface deals quite well with multi-lingual display SO LET'S IMPROVE IT AND GO FOR VIDEO (which is latin for "I see", you moronic car sim players)
.
Ça pourrai être "Reprise" ou quelque chose dans le genre.

It could be "Reprise" or something like that.
encore?
My French rules
Listen a real frenchy guy....
...The great word to "replay" in french is "enregistrement"
We using same word to "video replay " or "sound records"

According to our friend George B., the French have no word for entrepreneur.

Yes, but jouer is also valid when talking of video or music that you're not making yourself, like jouer un disque (although this use is less and less frequent). So technically, rejouter wouldn't be wrong.

+1 for Enregistrements, though.
