Indeed, I have learned only to engage in violence for the purpose of dissengaging a hostile situation. Firstly any violent response less than crippling injury or death megrely results in greater violence in return - possibly at a later date, secondly that extremely violent responses saddle you with a sack load of emo shit that I wouldnt wish on anyone to carry for the rest of their life.
