Quote from Cornys :My Ford is a 1990 F-150.. It's just beginning to rust with 154,000 miles..

must be the weather....my 05 f-150 was just sent to scrap because it was rusted beyond anything safe....left side of the frame was completely broken in half...and it only had 130,000 km on it.
Snow and salt are car murderers and there is almost nothing you can do about it and still be a 'regular' car owner. (not using tweezers to pick pieces of road salt off the top of your lower control arms every night)
Quote from Bose321 :Where around do you live? Looking to sell it to me as my first car?

Warmond, a place near Leiden Z-H.

and it wont go up for sale, unless you got a real nice R34 GTR v-spec for me lol
its my second car. also got a '02 Renault Megane 1.4 16v Break as a daily drive. bought the sky when i was 20. 21 now getting it insured was a bit pain though.

i dont really recommend a skyline as a 1st car, unless you got a steady income and some driving experience. you can get RWD GTS-T's for low prices but maintenance is pretty expensive and it Loves to drink lots of high octane fuel (did got 4,5km to 1L of fuel with a rubbish mapping once) finding a good insurance company takes alot of phone calls if you are at my age and dont come cheap.
its quite a heavy car wich doesnt really help either in the Netherlands (tax) RHD takes some time to get used to but its not that bad as many people think.

however its a fun car to drive, really puts a big smile on my face everytime i drive with it and it sure does to the passengers aswell! the gtr is fast enough to beat alot of cars on the road. (gotta love those faces of 911 drivers when you outrun them with ease) to me it is a great looking car. the engine really pulls and is very smooth to drive. the r33 got quite some space in the interiour, even in the backseats! 4wd provides tons of grip aswell. and of course it is quite easy to get alot more hp out of it but it will come at a cost.
last but not least, The SOUND of an RB engine is just amazing

I don't understand the fuss, everyone here is all "oooh" and "Ahhhh" over GT-R's like they've never seen them before
Yeah, it's the prefered meathod of showing you like something without having a like button to press. His car is a tidy example of a tuners classic. Like a good mk II escort. Or or a nice m3.
It's a similar reaction you get when you buy new nail polish. we all know what you're like when you get that new red number 7.
But as i said, alot of people here act like they've never seen one before.

Idno how it is in other places, but clean GT-R's in aus are dime a dozen...you see them everywhere.

ps; only ever worn black tyvm.

u jelly
One skyline R35, two R33s here in my home town. Had to take a look at a picture I had taken to see that it was not the same car as gtrrulez
Quote from Töki (HUN) :u jelly

jelly? why would i be jelly? i could go for a 5 minute drive and see at least one skyline, and at least one silvia.

they're nothing special.
Good for you.

although you're not wobbly fruit flavoured water, could you name a British car or an american car you'd be excited (for want of a better word) to see? the Nissan is going to be a popular car in a region that isn't far from where it's made.
To put it into perspective, I don't see why people get excited over coming to Ireland and drinking a Guinness, but they do. Americans don't really care for climbing up to the top of a tall building in one of their cities, just to look at the rest of the city. But how many tourists visit the top of the Empire States Building?
People get excited about driving the autobahn. To Germans, it's just a motorway.
I hope this helps you understand better.
That's cool, but why are they watering the track? Because of weaker cars? I like it smokey.

Quote from Bose321 :Looks like a boring drift track if you'd ask me. Come over to zandvoort, they recently converted a paddock into a drifting area.

Its been years used for drifting at zandvoort. Been there few times.

The reasons because it's wet is because there are allot of underpowered cars (amateur class) and circuit-zolder doesn't permit dry drifting (noise etc..)
Working working working\\

Use of psychoactive substances and boredom causes stuff like this. It's easy to clean it, but i won't be doing that.

yeah, the Skyline is never sold here in europe except a few in England.

because here we are used to LHD and skylines only came RHD, they are quite rare in europe. (england is RHD) and i dont think there really was a market for the skyline in holland. for example the 300ZX has been sold here at dealerships but nobody was interested in an expensive nissan. the later 350z did sell alot though but it was much better priced aswell.

the last few years skylines has become more popular in holland but 9/10 are GTS-T's that get imported. there arent that many GTR's around.
alot of gts-t's wear the GTR spoiler, and some even got GTR look bumpers on them etc. so many think they saw a gtr while in fact it was "just" another gtst.

MR.Phonso : Nice S14! i love them! first one i see with R32 GTR rims!

and how my friend shot the rolling pictures:

Celica Driveby! lol
