My dad is the former head of the Photo Library at the Associated Press. He was on TV several times for interviews regarding the "Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima". TV stations had to have him on because he was one of the few people that could access the original negatives.
Somebody as eccentric as me, obviously i've a fair few!... but this story has always been my favorite, probably because of the pain involved just adds that twist.

I've some well known relatives and maybe might have possibly been on one of those things with the moving pictures maybe possibly at some time... I preffer to talk about the stuff I didnt do over the stuff I did. Of course well publicised on these forums already I got to race the original stig, and in his youth I conclusively repeatedly humbled a certain Mr Button (I think he got the last laugh), I fixed Michael Cain's computer, and Mah Larkin's, and, ahh hell that'll do you...
i was in an advert as a lil baby for sma baby food. My borther works with Lemar and Ms dynamite farely closely. I got heikki kovaillainens autograph... My family is distantly related to 2 members from eternal and my godfather is a music producer. My sister was on xfactor in the groups but got dropped in the last 14 groups, also one of the singers from RnB group damage fancied her, my brother in law had a record deal with sony, but the band manager f00ked that one up. Also goldie used to live in the flats next to mine when i was little and graffitti up the playground :P

If i think of anymore i'll let u know..
Quote from Bladerunner :I came 289th in the Marseilles-Cassis demi-marathon in the late 80's

My new hero!

Personally, I came 3rd at a skiing race when I was a kid (along with about 20 other kids - there were 20 for silver and gold too)
I was on "How to catch a predator" by Dateline NBC

My Auntie once worked for Michael Ball and then tried to con thousands of pounds out of his friends and fans.
This one's a bit easy for me

Obviously there's the band (Albany Down, appearing near you next year!).

Then the more unusual stuff. I was in the casino scam episode of The Real Hustle.
I played a sailor in The Edge of Love and had a brief conversation with Sienna Miller about the life of an extra. For anyone who's seen the movie, I'm the sailor she checks out crossing the bridge at Kings Cross station (assuming that was left in).
And then most recently I played a junior doctor in The Commander with Amanda Burton. you can see a montage of the clips featuring me here. I'm the only one in a white coat. My mum messaged the person and asked them if they'd put it together for her. Sad sad woman.

Was measured for a student costume for The Golden Compass, but never got called back. And I was supposed to be in Nottingham (Russell Crowe, Sienna again) but the production was cancelled. I was looking forward to that too. Maybe next year.
My dad was on one of the hospital ships in the Falklands War, and he got to meet Matthew Kelly (of Stars In Their Eyes fame)
umm lets see

my great great great...etc grandfather was the mayor of London and he laid the first stone in London Bridge

umm...

My grandfather on my father's side was a pretty famous author, they still use his books in some places (I'll have to dig the copies we have out)
Uhm, my great great... uncle was a captain of the titanic. (not the one who, you know..)

Ive been on Motors TV like 20 times now, im surrounded by the likes of Martin Brundle, Martin Donnelly, Paul O'Neil, and some other F1 world champion i can't remember his name, nearly every month..

Haha, I have never done anything famous or something, the closest to that got to be the thing below.

Hmm, I have won a simulator contest here in Norway back in 00 or 2001. It was on this local meeting, where they had out up shop stores, fun rides and such, aswell as this chamber simulator. The game was some sort of simulator, witch moved and felt quite realistic for that time. The game was a F1 game, probally from the year 1995 or earlier. Either way, I was the best of the 2000 people that have tried it, so it boosted my ego meeter and I got to handshake one norwegian racing driver. Sorry I don't know more info, been some while ago and I cold not find the paper that told what driver I handshaked on either.
I produced an utterly random "happy" hardcore tune which somehow became the "must-have" track for DJs playing that genre that year. It even appeared on a proper retail CD.

Had lunch with Rubens Barrichello when I was working for VW UK, he was driving for Stewart at the time, both their HQs were next to one another.

Erm... *scratches head*
Quote from amp88 :My lower legs appeared on TV about 10 years ago.

Hey was one of those legs on the titles of "The Bill" yours then??
Quote from BigPeBe :My dad knew from work the racing driver Esa Schroderus, from Team F40 (2x Ferrari Challenge Champion, used to drive Super Saloon etc.).
But I think my dad hasn't seen him for years.

When I was a kid, we used to get free VIP tickets for racing weekends from him. I still can remember the mighty Super Saloon-monsters.

Yes, I'm SO famous.

Yes, I'm quoting myself (again).

Two things I just remembered.

My dad and my little sister were on local newspaper, don't remember why.

Good friend of mine got to the local newspaper, after he smashed his unlicensed car, without drivers license, to a tree.

I was the first one to get the Jagged Alliance 2 sources running on Visual Studio 2005, and also fixed a few bugs.

Yeah...
i was a Extra on BBC 1 program Aftersun .
and i was inteviewd on spanish news , even though it dident get published
Quote from gezmoor :Hey was one of those legs on the titles of "The Bill" yours then??

Hehe, no. It was on a Saturday morning kids program. My best friend at the time's dad was the lighting director so we got easy access.

Heh. My hands were on TV a few years ago, playing keyboards in a band. Couldn't work out why they didn't show the rest of me, as everyone else in the band managed to get their mugs on camera.

Quote :And my older brother, whilst representing the company on the phone, threatened to beat the shit out of Prince Naseem Hamed when he threatened to break our legs for not supplying an Impreza 22B front bumper.

I like it Threatening a Prince.
