As posted before, our main Admin Carsten is currently checking the Replay, for Disconnects. As far as i know, we will not remove all penalties, but only these which occured in sector 3, because we do not want to "double"-punsih. The not completed Lap is penalty enough. The additional Lap added by our Tracker, will in contrast be removed.

I just want to point out that giving one lap back for only those teams which timed out in last sector put them actually in better position than the ones who timed out in first or second.

3rd sector is something like about 50s long. So when +1 lap penalty is removed from them they lose about 2mins to 2mins 50s. But then these teams timing out in first or second sector not only get +1 lap penalty which is already 2min 50s, and just to add to that then all the time lost when they were racing before the actual timeout which can be from 1s to 2mins. And then of course the time to connect the server again and leaving the pits, and how the strategy went all wrong.

Yea most of the LFS teams go inactive simply because people lose interest towards LFS, reasons for that are obvious enough. However id see that only one part of this whole team is about LFS. We have have good group for that but more and more of LFS'ers are moving into other sims. For me and for many others the main focus is in sims like iRacing.

ineX Racing is an ambitious simulation racing team consisting of skilled sim and real life racers from across the globe. The team was established on the 16th of April, 2010. The term ineX is derived from the latin word “inexpugnabilis,” which means: unconquerable, not to be taken by force.

The team is built around people with experience, both in simulations and real life racing. The members of ineX Racing have the motivation and commitment needed to push the team towards success. Since the beginning we have seen our lineup expand and strengthen significantly. With the skill-set we possess, we will do nothing but our best to become one of the strongest simulation racing teams in the industry, and to maintain the level that we have already achieved.

Our goal is to provide an environment which inspires ineX drivers to find and reach new levels of competition. We feel that we have assembled a setting where this can be achieved, and the people in the team work hard to improve this aspect further day in and day out. Thus ineX Racing is always on the look out for talents that can improve our team in terms of driving, along with any other helpful facets.

Currently our main focus is in the iRacing and Live For Speed simulators. However, since it's in our plans to broaden our influence on and off the sim-racing tracks, we are not ruling out other simulator possibilities in the future. We aim to compete in as many leagues and series as possible this and coming years, and in the meantime look forward to having fun enjoying the time we spend with all the great people we will meet in the process.

Hmm, Id be quite sure they were 40s behind us when I followed the last laps from remote. I dunno then, maybe something happened which I too completely missed.

Im sry, should have used some other expression when writing my reply in a hurry than "everyone" so it wouldnt have confused you. I forgot how emotional you can get with your hatred towards scipy and his band of merry men and manage to come up with a reply like that missing the point what I really said.

This is entertaining. Scipy wanted to suggest a change in rules. People from the beginnin of the MoE had the idea that what happened there in GT2 wasnt acceptable in start. So atleast a clearing it out from now on wont hurt anyone. And DWB already said it will be.

Leave the rule like its atm "doublefile", and you can see the dirtiest starts ever in MoE because everyone WILL pull "Nikis" from now on.

Yes of course Paulie, but what i tried to say with my exaggerated example is that more bad/exluded laps u have at the beginnin, the better avg laptime you get over the whole stint in the end. It works also both ways, if you have more excluded laps in the end then avg is obviously worse as the first part of the stint has more weight in this 105% calculation.

Sasas method is close to what it should be but its not the 100% truth either. It favors the guys doing mistakes in the start when the laps with high fuel dont have any value.

By this funny 105% magic the data comes complitely inaccurate when, for example, driver drives lets say 15 laps. First ten laps are full of driver mistakes and laptimes around 2.30. Then the five last laps he decides to do 2.21.5 five times in a row resulting 2.21.5avg because the first 10 laps are excluded by 105%. When in reality his "true avg" for that stint would be somewhere around 2.27.2(without the 105%). Of course this is exaggerated example but just to show that those avg laptimes tell something but definately dont tell the whole truth in some cases.

Quote from PMD9409 :So then why do you drive it now?

Why do I drive it now? Im referring to these ideas to destroy the original characteristics of the chicane. Id prefer placing some carefully thought objects to restrict the cutting without ruining the whole driveable part of the chicane, including the curbing on the left and on the right at exit. But these 90 angles, I dont understand why.

Im just sayin what I think about it, I never had problems with the chicane and like I said its a challenge to get it right for me.

Quote from PMD9409 : There's a difference between a challenging corner and a bad one.

Youre absolutely right. Placing cones in the middle of the road to create 90 deg corner is a bad corner and not a challening one like the original.

If admins have made up their mind and want to do something about the chicane then thats fine for me, atleast its the same for everyone.

New season but the same old story with the chicane. Why is that it needs to be totally destroyed by fictional cones/tire barricades whatever. The chicane itself is the most challengin part of the track and gettin it right lap after lap gives something for the driver as he cant lose his concentration and needs to hit it properly, without cutting it or damaging the car obviously.

Seriously all ideas ive seen here suck, and no I havent tried them but when I see pile of dog sh*t I dont need to eat it to know that its not doing any good for me or anyone else. Im with Scipy and Virgo. Let the people cut it as much they want and let them deal with the consequences by having massive damage on the suspension or even worse.

If you desperately want to add something there to prevent excessive cutting then place the tires or barricades in their right places without completely destroyin the characteristics of the original chicane. Thats my suggestion.

Yea theres some problems, mercury site is down too with the same error message as its being hosted in same servers. Have to wait until Paul is back so he prolly gets it up and running again.

I dont think it has anything to do with bills not being paid. Well cant be sure but I doubt it, just gotta wait for Paul

Quote from PioneerLv :...

All the chatting is forbidden during the qualification and race, except if its really something urgent that cant wait until the session is finished. All the smilies and "sorry"'s are considered chatting and several times you and your teammates were told to keep the chatting to minimal/non-existent not by only admins but other drivers aswell. If you for example had to leave the race and do something in your real life then that for sure isnt a problem, but next time just go spectate and just leave the server quietly without disturbing others. You can always explain yourself after the race if you feel theres need for that. Especially on tracks like Blackwood its really easy to lose the concentration over even smallest chatline popping in your screen.

There was also other slightly worrying behaviour already before the quali when others wanted to do some laps and practice. But I dont think theres any need to discuss about it more than we already have.

We will review the whole situation again properly during the weekend and see how this affects your team's possibility to participate in LFSPS.

Thanks for coming here to apologize and explain yourself.

Full results

Unfortunately we suffered from some unexpected technical problems especially during the restarts which resulted the whole round to last longer than planned. For the coming rounds the problems are solved and the whole starting procedure should go alot more smoothly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

A full race report can be found on the LFS Pro Series website, along with the complete points standings for the driver and team championships.

Yes you can still sign up for the reserve list. In fact signups for the reserve list will stay open for the whole season. If someone from the main 32 driver group cant make it to the race then theres free spots in the grid that people in reserve list can apply for.

If theres, lets say 3 spots on the grid free after the main 32 has confirmed their status, and 5 drivers from reserve list would like to race then we will decide who are the three that get to race based on several things like points, finishes, starts, ability etc..

Spdo skins the same as Gt1 skin with different colours so no vote there. F1rst skin has something with the Joker design, so does the Sonic with turtles. Im not a fan of turstles that much so this one goes to F1rst and Joker.

Since I cant vote Merc skin I gotta pick Spdo. None of the skins were that special though, I thought Id see something spectacular this time. All of them nice skins though =)
