Ok, and where exactly do you suspect the bug to be? Do you want Scawen to close the test patch section again, just because you can't obey the forum rules and stop posting requests?
I hope sometime you will be able to forgive Scawen that he keeps working on the game, even if that means that you will have to rework your sets .
But would it hurt to give it a try? If it does not work for people, then you choose a lower number. But I can't see the reason why to restrict it on the gameside.
I have an E4300 running at FSB 300 (2.7 GHz) and it is doing well with a full grid of AI (no chance yet to test 32, max was 20. But I have no doubt that it will handle 32 as well).
Not sure if that is a W10 thing or more general. When playing LFS I set my driver to 4xAA and 16xAF outside the game. Then run it in fullscreen. Everything ok, great looking. Use Shift+F4 on track, the picture will build up new, but obviously not good looking any more. It seems as if LFS forgets to use the higher settings enabled in the driver. Sometimes exiting the game and restarting helps, somtimes it does not. Best result to get back to the proper use of driver settings is exiting the game, change a setting in the driver (e.g. AFx8) and enter the game. Then exit it again, changing back to 16xAF and starting the game again.
I use a x1950Pro AGP, Cat. 7.3 and run the game on an E4300 @ 2.7
Thank you so much for this patch! The cars feel so much more real and I had a blast racing in the LX6. Before I was not even able to drive this car in a streight line. Racing is so much more fun now!
I had high expectations regarding this patch and it is even better than I could imagine.
What gives you the confidence that you think you can give an opinion in the name of "the community"?
I think that clearly some people whish to have other BMWs in LFS and others (like yourself) don't. And if there really will be some, only the devs know. And even if they decide to put some BMWs into LFS, you will allways be free not to use them .
Maybe it has something to do with what it says on the homepage regarding the new physics: "...losing a few seconds instead of losing the car completely."
