I got a disc from the old computer mags saw Live For Speed on there and thought oh this looks cool tried to play it on my keyboard, it was so damn hard to control mainly due to the fact i was so used to playing games like NFS.

There started my love for racing sim games (not including Gran Turismo)

They can take their time i'm still having fun with the game now but i play around with lfs tweak

I've been playing s2 since 2007 but was a solid demo player from around 2004 s1 was still fresh hell my old pc wouldn't play it that well but i still played it.


But a few updates or progress report which i know they have said it hard to give, but a status of what they're doing would be nice.

Clearly you have zero understanding of what a DDos attack is.
So let me explain to the best of my knowledge

A ddos is a distributed denial of service attack, where as a Dos attack is just a denial of service attack
Easier to do a Dos attack than a Ddos
Easier to block a Dos (single attacker) attack than a Ddos (multiple attackers)

Whats happening during a ddos is he is sending packets of data to your modem requesting for a reply (so really a ping) so much of these ping requests are sent through in such a small space that no legitimate data can pass through as you modem is too busy processing all these ping requests.

Now there's only two ways really to get out of a ddos 1 they stop the attack or 2 you renew your ip if you have a dynamic ip. There's another option and that's ringing your isp and getting them to block said ip and they will most likely be reported well depends on where you live here in australia it's highly illegal to ddos .

Most good modems now can somewhat prevent a dos attack not so much a Ddos.

So (D)dos attack blocks external data coming in/out, doesn't harm the internel network (LAN)

Well i'm from australia and working in one of the Cheapest petrol stations in Australia (United). Petrol here is going around the $1.60-$1.65 per ltr while diesel goes for around $1.85 - $1.90 mark

well i run a clan thats lacking a server (and decent memebers that are willing to take part in a clan)

So maybe our clan could have exclusive rights or what not to this server

Oh and our clan name is AAD (all aussie drifters) we don't just drift we also race too.

i dunno if you have played gears of war on xbox 360 they let you have a guest account thats the same idea i'm thinking of.

like what if i decide to have a little lan session between and mate me just the 2 of us and only one of us has s2 and the other has demo what about sharing your account so both of you could play on the one server at the same time now that would be fun coz just playing 2 player of lfs does get bit boring but if you add say an extra 5+ people it gets more fun

i really hope the devs see my side of this i didn't intentionaly think i was breaking the EULA i would die if i got banned from lfs
i've a long time player then to be tossed out back to demo would kill me i love this game i have got so many peolple to play this (there still on demo) i even went halves with one guy to help buy him s2 and will be doin with another mate soon as soon as he gets enough money to pay half not just gonna let him have just s1 thats like only giving a kid half of there fav toy.

but read muffman001 post yeah that maybe one demo users point of view but there are many out there that are like that i was like that before i brought S2 i have been playing lfs since s1 was first realeased back in 2004 i think it was and i've only had s2 for a few months now i didn't buy it for a long time coz i thought everyone on s2 would be just as bad as the people on demo but then i got my chance at playing s2 for a little bit and i quite enjoyed it that made me wanna buy it i thought it was dull and boring and very repetative untill i played s2.

i could ramble on all night and fight my point but really it's not going to achive anything really coz so far no one but the demo player agrees with me.
