the race has started at 18:00 UTC for two times now..we wont change it..it worked perfectly every year and nobody complained about this yet.

i have tried another replay of the same race from one of my teammates who drove one stint. when watching his replay all skins were loaded proper, so to me it seems the replay file is corrupted in any way.
as far as i know the server on which the race was held was running on a version of 0.5Z and not updated to one of the later host patches, and the replay was saved by the server.
maybe this is the problem here !?

maybe the problem is with the replay itself.

hello,

im not quite sure whats wrong, but today i wanted to look the replay of the VR 12 hour race. When starting the replay only the helmet skins were downloaded, but not the skins of the cars. when connecting to a server the missing skins are being downloaded without problems (i tried it out on CD1), but i havent tried it with other replays yet.
the game is on version Z, no testpatch installed

probably not. The event's spirit is based on the idea of forming a team and racing together. Slots on the servers have a high value, and we are not willing to get it blocked by one person where four could have had fun.

Yep mee too! The wheels are way too big. Their size and positioning in the housing is absolutely unrealistic which makes it look weird. In real worlds scale the tires would be someting like 300/2/25.

the HDRI Image needs to be set up as "spherical environment" to wrap it correct around the skydome as you can see in your picture the image is stretched as if you are driving high speed but it should look like a normal sky.

thats what i assigned the glowing area to. plus i additionally added the interior DDS File with the rear light as diffuse map,

The rear ones? its really easy.. you need to convert the rearlight into an editable poly, then mark the polygons you want to glow. Detach them as a new Object and give them a nice redish color with glowing effect..thats it.

im sorry to tell you, but imho the surface of the car has a too much plastic look. a painted metal surface has much more shine and glossiness (if cleaned and waxed proper). try to increase the specular level of the skin..

but good job with the headlights

irl the speedo is connected to the front tyres. i have noticed that in several fwd cars i drove. locking brakes dropped the speedo down to zero, spinning wheels (in 1st gear on snow or ice) lets it jump up.

thats why i always was wondering why the RWD cars in LFS the speedo seems to work different, when revving up and letting the rear tyres slip, the speedo goes up, when using the e-brake, the speedo goes down.

maybe someone of the devs can explain how the speedo works in LFS.
