2005 Toyota Yaris 1.25 VVTi - Great little engine, terrible to drive

2003 Ford Focus LX 1.6l - My first owned car, just can't say enough good things about them really.

Next - Ford Focus ST or new Fiesta ST.

You would never imagine, I bought them Nah, it's really not hard to buy cars like these here, but most of them are in quite a bad shape. So is the anniversary.
I really want to save it, since its a damn rare one, only 147 were made with manual gearbox, and around 3000 with auto, but the chassis is falling apart everywhere. Ill keep it, at least for parts until I finish with the other one. Both have very very long stories to tell, but thats another topic :P

ps: I actually have two and a half. The red one was cut, and then welded together with the other half hehe

They drink piss water though and don't have the capacity of the stereotypical Finn
Actually only poor americans drink the piss water domestic beer. I don't drink anymore, but I drank Bass Ale, Guiness, and franziskaner dark.
Wow, I've never even heard of some of these cars, and I've never even heard of cars with such tiny engines, how do you merge onto the highway with a 1.6? lol
Quote from DHRammstein :how do you merge onto the highway with a 1.6? lol

The same way you do in any car. How do you go around corners in a Mustang? lol
Quote from STROBE :Yeah but when you're only 27 and are showing off a long list of highly tuned cars that you've owned, most people's reaction will probably just be "rich bastard showing off".

lol... expensive cars those? ffs. They are expensive but not in a rich style or level.
Quote from wheel4hummer :The same way you do in any car. How do you go around corners in a Mustang? lol

It's not a GT know it all, cobra's have an IRS, that combined with my suspension with adjustable height and dampers, and 245's in the front, 285's in the back, it handles as well as a new vette, this I know because I fool around with them at the track. Since we're making fun of cars, how long does it take your crummy british 1.6 embarrasments to reach 60mph, or even worse, 100mph? Or can any of them?

"The same way you do in any car" Yeah, it's real safe accelerating at that slow of a pace getting onto the highway, you probably have to redline every gear to get to the speed limit, while I'm just gently pressing the thottle in 6th gear. Don't argue this point, you can't win. Jeez, you can't win an argument so you insult my Cobra? I guarentee you've never even driven one. They handle great, especially with a suspenson and weight reduction, which I've done. You're funny, you'll think of anything to make fun of a car, the 03/04 Cobra's are NOTHING like other mustangs, but you wouldn't know anything about that.

Actually, I think I'll go for a ride in my Cobra and forget about you jealous moron.
Quote from chanoman315 :lol... expensive cars those? ffs. They are expensive but not in a rich style or level.

So true. They're not expensive! Only the Cobra, which I saved for years to get, what's wo wrong with that. That's what I tried to explain to him, the GTI and Saab I got at auction for an unreal price, I did all the modds myself, and it took a long time, I'm not rich. The mustang GT was a gift I got for myself for graduating college, the Cobra I got because it's my dream car, and the quickest car in American for the price. For those of you who don't know, the Terminator Cobra's ('03-'04) are absolutely nothing like the GT's nor the newer heavy a$$ cobra's. I didn't want just a drag car(The 99GT), I wanted something that can take the corners and compete with supercars(well once I get the Kenne Bell installed) All together I only invested 8k into the GTI and Saab combined, over 6 years, that is NOT a lot. The GT I admit I went crazy on, but I could afford it, it was before I started a family, and the Cobra is the only expensive car, and I saved forever. I'll keep the Cobra for life, best car I've ever driven, and smokes just about anything, it's good fun at the track. Of all ppl, considering how related this forum is to racing, you'd think most of you would understand that. I'm blessed to be able to do these things, and I appreciate it every day. Anyways, this guy treats me like I have a garage full of Ferraris and Vipers.

People, stop hating on me, what the hell did I do? Cars are a hobby of mine, and over 6 years I've collected each of my favorite, stop hating and get a life. You've already gotten one thread locked, working on another?. The moderators are fed up with this nonsense, and so am I. This behavior is just...sad, but at least I'm not the instigator.
even in mexico, guys my age get audi's, bmer's etc.
Quote from Christopher Raemisch :Ahh Strobe your just jealous =) I don't see this as a 'willy wag'

i think youre wrong... that has just about every american stereotype there is splattered across barely more than one line of text

Quote from DHRammstein :how long does it take your crummy british 1.6 embarrasments to reach 60mph, or even worse, 100mph? Or can any of them?

Don't take my text out of context to score a cheap shot, that was in responce to a guy's comment about my Cobra, which he knew nothing about, besides, it's the truth. I'm from Germany, and spent time in England, honestly, I like most of the cars, and I understand why they're smaller, less powerful. It's about economy and small roads, I was only trying to get under his skin for mocking my car, I just got it, I'm still excited about it and everyone is hatin on me. I seriously think you should all leave me alone, if you can control your ego, you can, if not, then I expect more of the same.

I admit I at times don't take forums very seriously, but this I find frustrating.

Jeez you said exactly the same thing to W4H - when he responded with an equally cheap shot you went crazy.

FWIW even my mates shitty 306 1.5 XL will easily break the speed limit on the slip-road, and that did 0-60 in 14.4 seconds when it was new...
lol. hey they made 1.6's in the states too and I could always get up to the speedlimit before the end of the slip road.

Everyone needs to stop taking things so seriously, there are more important things in life besides what other people think, not going to change prejudice by arguing. :sigh: There was a reason why I quit posting on the forums here... people need to stop bashing each other... mods please help here, this is not how a community is supposed to feel...
Now THIS is willywaving:

197x Toyota Cressida (2.0), cost 50e
1987 Ford Escort (1.4), cost 650e
1994 Lada (1.5), cost 250e
1991 Ford Sierra (2.0), cost 500e
