I know there's lots of threads on this, but I thought a poll might be interesting.

Multiple choices allowed (but keep it to 2 or 3 - don't just vote for them all).
I didn't play "NFS Most Wanted"
specify the idea please?
Had about 9 of these checked off at first, managed to scale it back to 4. Sprint cars would be my number one choice for sure.
I voted for
Go-Karts
Rally
Le-Mans
Nascar
I like those best
Le Mans, V8, Nascar, WRC
The one I'd love to see most is the "classic racing" genres.

I think that's what a simulation can really excel at; letting people experience something that is not even possible any-more at all! I'd love to compare old GP cars to the cars from Grand Prix Legends. I actually think they'd probably be more realistic in LFS.

Did you ever check out any of those RatBag games? They're actually pretty good.
Yup, played the original DTR and also the first Sprint Car one that came out. I still fire the sprint car one up from time to time, too bad that series isn't around any more.
Wingless single seater.
RWD medium-low power slick shod NA sports car and a race spec LX.
i dunno, peronally i think lfs is missing an SUV style car
NASCAR, UF1 opponents, Le Mans and karts
I'm missing the option "race cars"

We have MRT5.
Vote: Modern V8 Touring cars

Doesn't count, it's a niche autox specific vehicle really and totally unlike a Formula Ford or similar.
I'd say touring cars, but not the Aussie V8 ones.

ETCC/WTCC/BTCC sorta thing. FXO in FWD racing form would be superb.

He was really playing with fire with that one in NASCAR land....

I voted for V8 Supercars because we really need a V8, NASCAR (along with appropriate oval tracks) because I'd love to see how LFS holds out to NR2003, Musclecars again because we need V8 and a car such as in the Trans Am series of the 60s-70s would be awesome, and another one but the list isn't showing as I type this and I forget.
No offence, but If they put a NASCAR car in LFS, I'll be gone quicker than you can say 'NASCAR actually doesn't suck'

Because having a stock car in LFS will prevent you from driving all of the other cars?

Sorry, but that was one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

you should add a:
-Classic Racing 1990s

my choice:
-Classic Racing 1920s-1940s
-
Classic Racing 1970s-1980s
-
Le-Mans styled endurance racers
I'd like a NASCAR car, I'd like any new content. In fact, NASCAR kit (and other stock cars in general) are a bit of handful on road courses, it could be fun
Nordschleife
WRC and Le Mans
