Warning: this is a TEST patch, not yet the final patch. I would advice you to copy your current LFS folder and apply the patch in that one. So you can always go back to your old installation in case something goes wrong.

Wow, I'm really disappointed about the FBM going into the demo. Why should demo users get MORE content? (Yes, more, any idiot can keep a version of X to play with the XRT) I'm a little shocked, but hey, I guess it will bring more people into S2.

God the clutch thing is annoying! Everytime I spin out (which is quite often, esp. at T1) the clutch goes. What's everyone's PB at BL1/FBM so far then.

I think switching the demo cars was a really good idea. The Demo is not about "what They get", its about showing off the different types of racing LFS provides. And having driven the FBM, it seems like the perfect introductory car for single seater's in LFS. I mean considering the amount of different racing classes in LFS, it was a bit crap to get three road cars.

so this was a move to bring more drifters to S2.

Now, demo racers not only get shut of the "XRT4eva no license needed kthxbai" crowd, they get a brand new single-seater to race with as well as a bunch of new features and upgrades.

which means that all of the potential redline crowd will now never buy the game
if the first s2 demo came with fox&bl1 and gtrs at aston nat no one would ever have bought the game

Yes I was afraid somebody was going to say that. I just feel that the devs work SOO hard on this game, and give so much of it to the public for free. Imagine putting ALL that time, and ALL that effort into something like LFS S2, and giving such a big portion of it away for nothing. I was hoping they would cut back the demo before S2 final, but I guess the devs have a differet point of view.
