GTT no longer in demo
Right, How long before we get a flood of bitching from all the demo users because their fav drift car is no longer a demo car

3.... 2.... 1....

Personally I think its a good move as the new car will show off faster cars and the GT and GTi provide a balance for racing. Bet we dont see demo users playing for X years now without upgrading.
Never.
Quote from JustCallMe-D :if its got wheels i can drift it... and if its front wheel drive i can E it... why they would do that i dunno but hey nothing we can do cept convince our parents and or in my case my WIFE.. to let me put out the money for S2 even though with hearin bout S3 in next years future might just be easier to wait..

It is gonna be a loooooooong wait then.
Cause 50 bucks is a fortune.

Well, it's not going to get any cheaper* then. The price is the same if you pay now or if you pay when S3 comes out, only difference is that if you pay now you can play S2 now.

Exchange rates not included*
Quote from JustCallMe-D :yup $40 here in US is a furtune lately specially with 2 kids and a wife that spends money like nothing during holidays.. but if she keeps gettin more into LFS hell maybe it will be easier to convince her... besides.. patience is a vurtue..... and with 2 kids and a wife.. i got alot of it

In LFS its not going to get cheaper, simple. You pay for S2 now, you only pay the extra £12 for the next stage at S3. So its pay £24 and play S2 now, then pay extra in a year or two, or just wait, have no S2 and pay £36 in years.

I love the Devs! I didn't really like the XRT, and now I've got the FBM, I couldn't care less!

It's a great car, but it hates kerbs, and if the clutch goes, then you can't repair it as the pit lane is uphill (as I've just found out )
Well, I think drifting will still be popular in demo except the difference is that we'll be seeing granny cars drifting (XRG)

Seriously, stop whining, you live in USA.

clutch just doesn't repair, so it would be hopeless to pit if your clutch is broken...

I think it is really good decision devs made, open wheeler in demo is going to be really good at brining more people into LFS world. Remember that open wheelers are quite big part of sim crowd and now they have opportunity to test open wheeler in LFS for first time without putting money down.

Also big part of competition is on open wheelers, search rfactor videos and quite big part of those are from open wheelers. That has demo with F1 car so it is good LFS got something to compete from those potential customers

And this New car is surely going to offer quite good base car for demo leagues, it screams to be used in leagues, rather easy to control, even less experienced drivers can do close racing, but yet it can be challenging when getting better driver.

Sure it will hit drifting scene quite bad, but I guess it has also message, LFS online racing simulator printed with huge letters.
I think it`s a great idea, taking the XRT out of the demo. From a financial/license point of view, it stops the "I have a drift car, a car park, and no need to buy a license" mentality, and also should help to minimise the flood of rather juvenile dorifto maniacs that have been degrading the forum (and the reputation of the regular, sensible drifters) for a while.

Also, replacing it with the Formula BMW means that anyone trying the demo out gets to play with a single seater, which is something that should have been in the demo a long time ago.

All in all, a step in the right direction
yea just now are u sure we are gettin that for demo? now there will b colse xrt and xfg races + f1 typish racing nice i cant w8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hyper::wow: :lfs:

You're dead right. I can do a fairly decent lap on a keyboard, without much difficulty. It has so much grip (even on cold tyres!)

The only small problem I have is that at the chicane after the straight, I can't quite turn the wheel from one side to another quick enough, but I still get round the corner, so It's not that much of an issue.
