loved the edit. feedback ya feelings on the 3.5 vb here if you want.
still the odd default theme :P
So, what's different in this new version? Apart from a new looking "editor" and the ability to add a reason for editing.

Oh and those buttons for Bold, Smilies, etc. now don't work at all...
wow great mood this morning
browser model and make pls - all works fine here on firefox 1.0.7 and IE 6 and opera 8.5
Errr, dunno where to get that, but that's from Help > About

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7

E: I also tried disabling all extensions, no change. JavaScript is activated in the options.

E2: In IE it works. Holy crap you can edit your post on the fly there LOL
the only thing I can suggest atm is to try to really reload the forum with a ctrl-f5. Maybe some javascript is cached. Other than that I wouldn't know why it wouldn't work over there.

(xaotik) DELETED by xaotik : Flushed the cache.
Quote from AndroidXP :the ability to add a reason for editing.

That's been there for ages... or at least, it has for me o_O
Firefox 1.0.7 here, can't use quick reply or post attachments or use any of the fancy buttons in the editor.
and yep, as to answer your question to what is new ;

-several big and small improvements to the interface
-security fixes
-code optimisations

that's it in a nutshell But posting features are quite nice, for example the inline edit feature you experienced and a quickreply is posted pretty quick too (doesn't have to reload the whole page)
Should be a better experience in general.

ctrl-f5
Ok, ^ this works. Seems like FF caches the javascripts and was using an old version all the time.
working nicely here good job guys
Test, Jup works fine

Edit on the fly? Please explain...

EDIT: Wow, now that is handy It doesnt cure poverty however
Ehm, I dont see anything new.. just looks different. But lemme test it to be sure..

EDIT: Ah yea of course, the on-the-fly editing haha. nice

quick reply don't work in FF 1.5
Everything works fine here - FF 1.0.7
Wasn't working until I Ctrl-F5'd. Seems good. Gonna test the edits now.

Edit: Ooooooh inline editing, suave!
Mostly works in Firefox 1.5RC1, but I think the remaining bugs are gecko related, as they occur in one of our webapps too.

I could kiss you... but that'd be repulsive.
yay

ooo loveleh ajax
Is it just me, or did they just add the emoticons along the right side? Maybe those were always there and I'm just blind.

Edit: Wow, this new editing function is pretty darn cool

Edit: Using Firefox 1.0.7
Quick reply is no longer workin here.

Firefox 1.0.4.

(edit) I see my firefox isnt the latest, i'll update it and see if it works then...

(edit 2 ) Ok, updated to 1.0.7 and its working fine.
